And today it was revealed that the CVA has been approved, with the process likely to conclude in early July 2025. He said: "The Joint Administrators (JAs) today held the meetings of creditors and members to consider the Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) proposals which were based upon the offer for the club submitted by Alan Savage. "The JAs are delighted to advise that both meetings approved the CVA. "This will allow the Club to exit Administration and retain its place in League One of the Scottish Football Leagues. "The club will now operate under the CVA for a short period of time under the management of Alan and his team. "Once the final costs are determined and the relevant dividends paid to creditors then the CVA process will be brought to a close. "It is anticipated that this process will conclude in early July 2025." BDO partner James Stephen said: 'The Joint Administrators would like to thank everyone involved in the process of getting to this point and in particular Alan and his team and the staff at the club. 'We would also like to thank the fans for their patience and support. Ex-Rangers star Duncan Ferguson spotted shovelling snow off Inverness pitch as he leads 'army' of helpers- 'We look forward to the conclusion of the process and seeing the club move forward.' Shinnie 'could retire today and be a happy man'

Graeme Shinnie says he "could retire today and be a happy man" after achieving his dream of captaining Aberdeen to a historic Scottish Cup his 300th appearance for the club, 33-year-old Shinnie led the Pittodrie side to a stunning penalty shootout victory over treble-chasing veteran midfielder captained Inverness Caledonian Thistle to Scottish Cup success 10 years ago and says his achievement a decade on "means everything"."I haven't been afraid to say it, but this is what I've been desperate for," Shinnie told BBC Scotland in the immediate aftermath at Hampden."I didn't want my career to go on and not win silverware for this club. It's sheer relief, knowing my family is up there. It's the best feeling in the world."It's my 300th appearance for the club, everything was just lining up. I could retire today and be a happy man." 'All the heartache makes it worth it' Before Saturday, Shinnie had suffered defeat in four previous domestic cup finals - three against Celtic - across two spells with the former Derby County man says leading the Pittodrie side to their first Scottish Cup success in 35 years makes "all that heartache well worth it".It looked like it would be another hard-luck story for Shinnie as Aberdeen went behind when Alfie Dorrington diverted into his own net in the first half. But their change of system to a 5-3-2 shape severely restricted a Celtic side that had put at least five goals past them on three occasions this to remain solid after the break, Aberdeen got their equaliser when goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel palmed Shayden Morris' cross into his own hailed manager Jimmy Thelin's decision to change the team's approach, as did penalty hero Dimitar Mitov, who saved two spot kicks in the shootout."Everybody doubted we could do it," Mitov told BBC Scotland. "But we knew with a good game plan, following instructions, working hard, we'd get a victory."We were outstanding. Sometimes, penalties go to luck. We rode our luck. We are cup champions, nobody cares how we did it."[Thelin] is the best manager I've ever worked with. On a day-to-day basis, how he manages us, how he trains us, the little details he puts in. "He always said 'when we win the final'. That mentality went into the boys, and we believed it. Everyone said 'when not if'. That was the turning point." 'Best feeling I've had in my life' Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack: "It's wonderful for our supporters, wonderful for the north east, it's been a long time coming."An awful lot of people wrote us off today, lambs to the slaughter some of them said. We've thrown a spanner in the works."Aberdeen defender Jack Milne: "This is the best feeling I've had in my life. We had the belief. "All of us knew we were capable of coming here and getting this result. It's amazing. It's a dream come true."Aberdeen midfielder Leighton Clarkson: "Absolutely incredible. No-one believed in us. We always had that hope, that bit of faith we could come here and do it."We came into this game believing and we've done it. I'm so happy."Aberdeen midfielder Dante Polvara: "I've been here four seasons, we've gone through a lot."The whole time I've been here, I've just wanted to give the fans something. Honestly, I never would've imagined it."

Historic SPFL club sign up 11 players and let seven leave as they prepare to rebuild after year of financial turmoil

They are hoping for a better season next year MONEY TALKS Historic SPFL club sign up 11 players and let seven leave as they prepare to rebuild after year of financial turmoil Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) TO say it's been a year of ups and downs for Inverness Caledonian Thistle would be an understatement to say the least. But after surviving the drop against all odds and now preparing to exit administration, the club is looking to rebuild for the future. At that point it looked as though Caley Thistle were doomed. They had been slapped with a 15-point deduction for entering administration and the financial outlook was grim, with club chiefs having knocked back a £1.2m bid to save them. As recent as March the club was at serious risk of going under as there were no serious offers to take them out of the doldrums. The economic issues meant they faced losing up to three-quarters of their playing squad. But last month a deal was agreed that would see them EXIT administration and a few weeks later they officially beat the drop thanks to a 3-0 win over eventual League One champions Arbroath. Inverness aren't completely out of the mire yet but the future looks much brighter now - and they have started planning for next season. Kellacher will aim to build on this season's seventh-placed finish and 11 players have been handed new contracts ahead of the upcoming campaign. Four stars remain locked in talks over extending their deals and a further three youth players have signed their first pro contracts. One player has been released and six loanees have returned to their parent clubs. "The club can also confirm that striker Ethan Cairns will be released upon expiry of his current contract. Ethan had been with the club since he was 9 years-old and signed for the club full-time in 2021. In total Ethan made 22 appearances for ICTFC and scored once. Everyone at ICTFC would like to thank Ethan for his contributions while at the club and wish him the very best in the future. "Six loan players have returned to their parent clubs: Alfie Bavidge, Ben Brannan, Keith Bray, Connall Ewan, James Nolan and Alfie Stewart. Killieare on the rise with or without McInnes

Robbie Deas believes Kilmarnock are "capable of going on to bigger and better things" with or without manager Derek have agreed a deal to secure McInnes' services, although personal terms have yet to be Deas, meanwhile, has agreed a new two-year contract extension with the Ayrshire club and revealed "I wouldn't have signed" if he did not think they could be successful under a new manager."I feel very at home here," the 25-year-old, previously of former Inverness Caledonian Thistle, said. "I think it's been a successful two years. "Finishing fourth and getting into Europe was amazing and I maybe took that for granted because it was my first year here."This season's been quite difficult, but at the end of the day, we secured safety in the Premiership."Kilmarnock have won three games in a row despite speculation about McInnes' future during which Deas thought there had been "no mood change in the camp".He admitted that McInnes' "stature" was "one of the main reasons" he signed for the club and that: "I feel he has been really good with me and I've come on leaps and bounds."However, Deas believes "I've still got a lot to give to the club" and that there is "loads of quality" in the squad no matter who is manager next season."The only reason I want to stay is because I know the players who are going to be here," he added."There's nowhere else I would want to play my football for the next two years."
