TO say it's been a year of ups and downs for Inverness Caledonian Thistle would be an understatement to say the least.
But after surviving the drop against all odds and now preparing to exit administration, the club is looking to rebuild for the future.

Scott Kellacher - who recently featured on our One-on-One series - was appointed manager in October after previous boss Duncan Ferguson left the club as they were unable to pay him and his players.
At that point it looked as though Caley Thistle were doomed.
They had been slapped with a 15-point deduction for entering administration and the financial outlook was grim, with club chiefs having knocked back a £1.2m bid to save them.
As recent as March the club was at serious risk of going under as there were no serious offers to take them out of the doldrums.
The economic issues meant they faced losing up to three-quarters of their playing squad.
But last month a deal was agreed that would see them EXIT administration and a few weeks later they officially beat the drop thanks to a 3-0 win over eventual League One champions Arbroath.
Inverness aren't completely out of the mire yet but the future looks much brighter now - and they have started planning for next season.
Kellacher will aim to build on this season's seventh-placed finish and 11 players have been handed new contracts ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Four stars remain locked in talks over extending their deals and a further three youth players have signed their first pro contracts.
One player has been released and six loanees have returned to their parent clubs.

A statement from the club read: "Inverness Caledonian Thistle can now give the following squad update following the end of season 2024/25.
"The club are pleased to confirm 11 players in total have agreed new contracts and three players from the ICTFC Academy have agreed their first professional contracts.
"A full statement regarding the Academy players who have agreed their first professional contracts with the club will be released in due course.
"The club can also confirm that striker Ethan Cairns will be released upon expiry of his current contract. Ethan had been with the club since he was 9 years-old and signed for the club full-time in 2021. In total Ethan made 22 appearances for ICTFC and scored once. Everyone at ICTFC would like to thank Ethan for his contributions while at the club and wish him the very best in the future.
"Six loan players have returned to their parent clubs: Alfie Bavidge, Ben Brannan, Keith Bray, Connall Ewan, James Nolan and Alfie Stewart. We'd like to thank all the players for their contributions at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC and we wish them the very best in the future.
"The club would also like to place on record our thanks to Aberdeen FC, Dunfermline Athletic FC, Kilmarnock FC, Manchester United FC and Ross County FC for their assistance with loan players in 2024/25."

Irish League club set for financial boost as Northern Ireland striker on verge of League One switch
The 21-year-old is on the move from Nottingham Forest in a deal worth more than £1million. Linfield will also net a financial boost after Taylor joined Forest from the Blues as a teenager in 2020. He spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at League One outfit Wigan Athletic from Forest, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists in 42 appearances. The striker claimed both the Players' Player of the Year and Player of the Year prizes, becoming the first loan signing since Chelsea's Reece James (2018/19) to achieve the feat. Taylor will be hoping the move helps him add to his nine senior caps for Northern Ireland after making his debut against Lithuania in 2021. His international comrade Jamie Donley has joined Championship club Stoke City on loan. The 20-year-old Tottenham Hotspur forward was hot property following an impressive loan stint in League One with Leyton Orient in the 2024/25 term. He scored eight goals and provided 10 assists as the O's made the Play-Off Final. Although several Championship sides were keen on his signature, Stoke got the deal over the line. Donley said: 'I had a few teams after me, but I decided on Stoke when the gaffer (Mark Robins) called while I was away on tour with Spurs. 'The way he wants to play, both in terms of attacking and defending, definitely suits me. 'I've heard a lot about the coaching staff and how the manager improves young players. 'You can see that in the history he's had in working with different teams. 'I'm very much a team player, Stoke City fans can know I'll work really hard whether that's defensively or making options to receive the ball to play forward. 'I enjoyed a really positive loan last year, I know about the pressure of men's football now and how people look to you to contribute in games. 'I took to that pressure well and I want to carry that on here at Stoke City.' In the Sports Direct Premiership, Crusaders have signed defender Odhran McCart following his departure from Ards. Glenavon have made goalkeeper Tadhg Ryan available for transfer.

Grant Hanley ‘over the moon' to join Hibs
Hibs latest summer signing Grant Hanley has admitted he was' over the moon' after signing a two-year deal with the Club. Hanley becomes David Gray's fifth new recruit of the transfer window, following in the footsteps of Jamie McGrath, Josh Mulligan, Raphael Sallinger and Thibault Klidjé who all joined the Club this summer. The 33-year-old has had an established career to date, playing the majority of his career in the English Premier League and Championship as well as representing Scotland over 60 times internationally. Hanley helped Birmingham win the 2024/25 League One title before becoming a free agent in the summer and after weighing up a few options, the experienced defender opted to join Hibs. 'I am delighted,' Hanley told Hibs TV! 'It has been a different time in my career for me personally – being a free agent – so I had a bit of time to think about it all, but I am over the moon to get it done and to be here. 'I had never been in that situation before, so for me it was about being patient and waiting until the right opportunity came up – and thankfully I managed to get that here.' The Scotland international was spotted around Easter Road in the weeks leading up to officially signing and the defender admits that it was those interactions and experiences which helped him make his decision. 'I took my time to meet everybody properly, I came to a few games last week and I saw the atmosphere from the fans and what the Stadium is like – from there it was a very easy decision for me. 'A big part of my decision, at this period of my career, was to get a real feel for the Club and the people within it. I have been properly welcomed and made to feel properly part of it all, all those conversations really helped make my mind up. 'The stage of the career that I am at, I am looking for a really positive experience and I can see where the direction of this club is going.' Despite earning 62 caps for Scotland, this will be Hanley's first taste of domestic club football in Scotland, having featured predominantly down south with Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United, Norwich City and latterly, Birmingham City. 'It'll be another totally different challenge – one that is different from anything I have experienced before. But that was another thing that attracted me to playing up here. 'I know the size of the Club, I know what is expected of me, I know how difficult the league is and the quality within it – so I am really looking forward to the challenge. 'I have played a lot of games so I will bring a bit of experience first and foremost. Hopefully, I can bring that both on and off the pitch and help the team to be successful.'
