Storm Lake hosting legal nonprofit to ask questions after storm
STORM LAKE, Iowa (KCAU) — Storm Lake residents with legal questions after a storm damaged the community on April 18 will have their chance to ask those questions.
The City of Storm Lake said in a release that Iowa Legal Aid will be in Storm Lake on April 29 at 5:30 p.m. at King's Pointe Resort.
Flood victims receive help from Sioux City Career Academy students
Iowa Legal Aid is a statewide nonprofit organization that provides free civil legal assistance to eligible Iowans. During the presentations, they will be able to assist residents with any legal questions or issues they may be facing.
The organization can also assist with a variety of other issues, like stopping unlawful garnishments, unlawful evictions, helping survivors of domestic violence, and more.
The presentation is open to all and is free of charge.
