Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index advances 0.61%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a positive note on Wednesday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent), Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent) and Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 1.1 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.12 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.61 per cent up at 21804.8. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 200.41 points at 25244.75, while the BSE Sensex stood up 700.4 points at 82755.51. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 ended in the green, while 9 closed in the red. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Vodafone Idea, Network18 Media, YES Bank, RattanIndia Power and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Prabha Energy, EID Parry, Quality Power Electr, Nesco Ltd and ITD Cementation hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while TECIL Chemicals, Sadhana Nitro, Osia Hyper Retail, Gensol Engg and Uma Exports hit their fresh 52-week lows. Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.61%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a negative note on Wednesday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.42 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) and Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 3.65 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent), J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.61 per cent down at 21393.3. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 73.75 points at 24752.45, while the BSE Sensex stood down 239.31 points at 81312.32. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 ended in the green, while 36 closed in the red. Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.64% in an upbeat market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 10:24AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market. ADVERTISEMENT Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.0 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent) and Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent) were among the top gainers. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 2.95 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent) and Abbott India Ltd.(down 0.5 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.64 per cent at 21385.0 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 173.05 points at 24782.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 543.93 points at 81495.92. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 43 were trading in the green, while 7 were in the red. NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded positive around 11:02AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market. Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 6.02 per cent), Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 4.41 per cent), J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 3.64 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 3.2 per cent) and Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.99 per cent) were among the top gainers. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.38 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(down 0.38 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.06 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was up 1.25 per cent at 21902.85 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 11.41 points at 25031.2, while the BSE Sensex was down 18.22 points at 82312.37. Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.32 per cent), Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent), J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 1.35 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(up 1.35 per cent) were among the top gainers. Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Abbott India Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.31 per cent) and Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was up 0.93 per cent at 21879.3 at the time of writing this report.
