Hezbollah Secretary-General: "We will proceed according to our national project; normalization aims to eliminate Palestinian cause"
Beirut – Saba: Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naeem Qassem affirmed that "the party will continue to confront challenges through sustained resistance as a liberation project, rejecting all forms of occupation, settlement, and normalization." In an interview with Iqtidar magazine, he stated, "Hezbollah is a capable and influential force within Lebanon on all levels—alongside the Amal Movement and their popular base, as well as with allies and their representation. We will proceed according to our national project to preserve Lebanon's sovereignty and independence." Sheikh Qassem reiterated the commitment to "cooperate with partners from political forces, parties, and sects to revive the country's economy, rebuild what the Zionist enemy has destroyed, restore depositors' funds, combat corruption and the corrupt, and uphold the rule of law." He added, "We will confront challenges through the continuity of resistance as a liberation project, rejecting all forms of occupation, settlement, and normalization." He pointed to "the targeting of our region by the arrogance of America and its criminal tool, the Israeli entity, through expanding land occupation, displacing their rightful owners, enforcing subservience to regimes, buying off consciences , followers, cultural and educational deception." Sheikh Qassem emphasized that "normalization between the Israeli entity and Arab regimes, in particular, aims to eliminate the Palestinian cause," warning that "Lebanon will be targeted to undermine its resistance." Anmol Baloch shuts down wedding rumours
Pakistani actor Anmol Baloch has officially broken her silence, and no, it wasn't with a wedding announcement. The Iqtidar star took to Instagram to address the persistent buzz surrounding her supposed marriage, finally putting weeks of speculation to rest. In a candid Instagram story, Anmol denied the rumours, stating she is not married. "When the time comes, I'll share it myself with my fans and industry people," she promised before continuing, "These rumours are fake. Please, don't believe everything you see online." The actor thanked everyone for their continued love and support but made it clear that, for now, the wedding bells are purely imagined. Speculation began after Anmol's name popped up during a morning show segment, where host Nida Yasir was congratulating recently married celebrities in a recent eid special show. While listing off names, Yasir mentioned Anmol, prompting singer Falak Shabbir to chime in with congratulations. That offhand moment quickly snowballed into a full-blown media frenzy, with fans convinced that the actor had secretly tied the knot. Adding fuel to the fire, various reports began claiming that Anmol was set to wed in 2025. Her rumoured groom was Umair Baig, a millionaire businessman and the son of a prominent former minister. According to social media chatter, Baig is also the director of the Baig Group, and the couple was allegedly planning a quiet, elegant ceremony. The rumours, however, were never backed by a credible source. The chatter intensified amid a wave of celebrity weddings, with stars like Mawra Hocane, Neelam Muneer, and Kubra Khan making headlines for their love lives. Fans began to wonder if Anmol was next, possibly set to drop a surprise wedding post like Mawra and Ameer Gilani. In an interview last year the actor urged women to be financially independent, regardless of their family backgrounds or marital status. "No matter who your parents are, no matter who you marry - a woman should be financially independent," Anmol asserted. The star didn't mince words about the harsh realities women face. "You're already facing so many challenges in life. If you take comfort in knowing that you have a husband providing you with food and shelter, you start to take it for granted. If you're getting abused or mentally tortured, this prevents you from taking a stand for yourself."

Emraan doesn't recall sour interaction with Javed
In an interview with The Indian Express, Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi addressed Javed Sheikh's claims of the former's dismissive attitude towards the veteran actor while the two were filming 2008 film Jannat. "It's bizarre," Emraan said, adding that he does not remember the sour interaction due to how long it has been. He, however, also claimed that the two were on cordial terms throughout their time on set. "I was 20-something then, and he is not my age, so we were never friends. I didn't hang out with him, but I don't remember anything like what he is saying happened." The Murder actor reckoned that this might have been a case of miscommunication. "I don't know what Javed sahab took back with him, but it is definitely something he has held on to for 16-17 years. As far as I'm concerned, it's a giant comedy of errors that has snowballed into something I know nothing about." Recently, Javed - who has acted in a number of Bollywood films — looked back on his time working with Emraan on Jannat, during an appearance on a local channel's Ramazan transmission. Javed recalled that the two first met in South Africa, where the film was being shot. "There was a big cricket stadium in Cape Town, where we had major work to do. So, the first set was in that very stadium. As everyone started coming in, the director introduced me to Emraan, who was just walking by," he said. The veteran actor added that when he extended a hand to the Indian actor, the latter grimaced and walked away from him. "It made me very angry. I kept thinking, 'Who does he think he is?' Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan – all of them refer to me as 'Javed ji' and I've spent much less time with this guy yet he decides to do this?" Javed, however, decided to ignore the behaviour then. "At some point, the director asked if we should rehearse the scene once. So, I agreed. Then he said, 'Please come, sir. Emraan Hashmi is sitting over there.'" The suggestion confused the Pakistani actor, but he stood his ground. "I said, 'Why should I go there? Tell him to come here,'" Javed recalled. The Iqtidar actor added that after a tense period, Emraan gave in and arrived himself. "I didn't even look at him. We just went on with the rehearsal and the shoots. For the next several days, I didn't even talk to him," Sheikh said. "My point of saying all this is that when you want to take revenge, do it in a soft way."
