A recent outbreak of the condition associated with the recall of hundreds of ready meals led to one death while nine other people fell ill.
Now, multiple herb plants have been recalled by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland due to the potential presence of the bacterium.
But the FSAI has stressed that the current recall has no relation to the recent outbreak associated with the ready meals recalls.
The items affected by the most recent recall are sold in Dunnes Stores, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, and Supervalu - but have since been pulled from the shelves.

SYMPTOMS TO WATCH
Listeriosis is a flu-like condition which can bring on symptoms such as a runny nose, headache, and fatigue.
It can also cause gastronomical issues including vomiting, diarrhoea, and nausea.
FSAI said: "Symptoms of Listeria monocytogenes infection can include mild flu-like symptoms, or gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
"In rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications.

"Some people are more vulnerable to Listeria monocytogenes infections, including pregnant women, babies, and people with weakened immune systems, including the elderly.
"The incubation period (time between initial infection and first symptoms appearing) is on average 3 weeks but can range between 3 and 70 days."
