Man killed in crash along Norris Freeway on Easter
CLINTON, Tenn. (WATE) — One person died in the early hours of Easter morning following a crash along Norris Freeway in Anderson County.
The crash occurred in the 600 block of Norris Freeway around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a Ford Mustang was traveling east when it struck a guardrail before continuing over an embankment and hitting a tree.
Man killed, driver charged after crash on North Broadway
The driver, Isaac Matchett, 21, was killed in the crash. The THP report states he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

His family has organized a memorial ride in Matchett's honor. It is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 3 at 5 p.m. at Norris Dam.
