Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh, 19, debuts new moniker after dropping famous dad's last name

Shiloh Jolie has entered a new era. The daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, 19, appeared at the launch of Isabel Marant's capsule collection with Net-A-Porter Thursday in Los Angeles — and she dropped a new moniker for the occasion. In a press release obtained by Page Six, Shiloh was credited as choreographer for an original dance number at the event — but she was listed as 'Shi Joli,' a moniker that pays homage to her famous mother while shortening her legal name. The dance featured dancers Tako Suzuki and Keoni Rose and was accompanied by singer Luella's performance of Naïve. The event, described as an 'intimate sunset dinner,' was held at Schindler's Oliver House in the Los Angeles enclave of Silver Lake. A-listers including Milla Jovovich, Alison brie, January Jones, Rachel Bilson, and more were in attendance at the soiree. Shiloh, who is frequently spotted heading to dance class in Los Angeles, famously requested to drop her father's last name on her 18th birthday in May 2024 — a change that was made official in August. After a judge signed off on the ruling, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt legally became Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. She was said to have done the legwork on her own — without involving the Eternals actress. 'Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn't know and can't speak for it,' a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time. In a July statement to Page Six, Shiloh's lawyer Peter Levine said in part that the teen made 'an independent and significant decision following painful events' in dropping 'Pitt' from her last name. Shiloh isn't the only of her famous siblings to have dropped the name following their parents' split and bitter divorce, which was finalised in December 2024 after an eight year battle. When Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 20, declared herself at Alpha Kappa Alpha's sorority induction ceremony at Spelman College in 2023, she shouted, 'Zahara Marley Jolie' in video of the event that circulated via social media. Amid the famous actors' custody dispute in 2021, a source claimed to Us Weekly that their oldest child, Maddox, 'doesn't use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren't legal and instead uses Jolie. Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn't support.' Pitt, 61, and Jolie, 49, who wed in 2014, welcomed Shiloh on May 27, 2006, and her twin siblings Knox and Vivienne on July 12, 2008. Pitt officially adopted Jolie's adopted children Maddox, 23, and Zahara in 2005, and Pax, 21, in 2006. The F1 actor was said to have been 'aware and upset' when Shiloh legally dropped his last name. 'He's never felt more joy than when she was born,' an insider told People in June 2024. 'He always wanted a daughter.' 'The reminders that he's lost his children is, of course, not easy for Brad,' they continued. 'He loves his children and misses them. It's very sad.' In May, Pitt broke his silence on finalising the high-profile divorce from Angelina. When asked by GQ if he experienced 'relief,' he said, 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally,' he told the outlet.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh debuts new name during rare appearance

and Brad Pitt 's daughter Shiloh has unveiled her new name during a rare public appearance in Los Angeles last week. The notoriously private 19-year-old, who is the eldest biological daughter of the former Hollywood power couple, attended an intimate dinner held at the Oliver House on Thursday to celebrate Isabel Marant's new capsule collection with Net-A-Porter. During the event, it was revealed that Shiloh had choreographed a dance routine by professional dancers Keoni Rose and Tako Suzuki, who accompanied singer-songwriter Luella's live performance of her new single Naïve. But according to reports, Shiloh used a new name to choreograph the performance. She is now reportedly going by just Shi, although it's unclear whether this is solely for the stage. The overhaul comes one year after Shiloh dropped Pitt from her last name, having officially filed the petition on her 18th birthday. Her name went from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. Shiloh's latest appearance comes days after she was spotted getting intimate with her gal pal and dance partner Keoni. The two were spotted shopping together when Keoni sweetly wrapped her arm around Shiloh's waist. Earlier this month, Shiloh dropped a major hint that she is following her mother into the arts and into humanitarian work as well. As she exited her rehearsal at the Millennium dance studio in the Studio City area, the dancer was attired in black sneakers, loose fitting cargo pants, and a black hoodie covering her blonde hair. The sweatshirt appeared to be from the non-profit organization The United Way which helps the homeless and less fortunate, an indication she wants to continue her mother's example of helping others. Shiloh's mom Angelina is a former United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and Special Envoy, who focused on refugees before stepping down from the organization in 2022. The teen has accompanied her mom on several humanitarian missions over the years, including trips to Turkey, Lebanon and Cambodia. Angelina previously opened up about Shiloh's preference to be kept away from the spotlight. During an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024, Angelina opened up about her children when asked whether any of them wanted to be in front of the camera. 'I think some of them off camera, behind the scenes,' she told the host. 'But they really, really want to be - especially Shiloh - would like to be private. Just private. Not photographed. She most of all likes privacy.' Angelina shares Shiloh and her five other children - Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, also 16 - with Brad, whom she married in 2014 after they met on the set of Mr. And Mrs. Smith. She filed for divorce in 2016, with their bitter court battle playing out for eight years before it was finally finalized in December. 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing,' Brad, 61, told GQ magazine last month of the divorce. 'Just something coming to fruition. Legally.' 'It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way,' he added to the publication.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Daughter Shiloh Choreographs Steamy Dance Performance Under the Name Shi at Hollywood Dinner for French Designer Isabel Marant

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh Jolie made an unexpected appearance at a dinner Thursday night in Los Angeles that celebrated the launch of French designer Isabel Marant's capsule collection with Net-A-Porter. But Shiloh wasn't simply a guest at the fashionable soiree. Using the name Shi, she choreographed a sometimes steamy number by dancers Keoni Rose and Tako Suzuki that accompanied singer-songwriter Luella's performance of her recently released single 'Naïve.' See Me' The dinner took place in the backyard of the Oliver House, a private residence designed by R.M. Schindler in the 1930s that overlooks the Silver Lake reservoir. Shiloh made a brief appearance at the cocktail hour before retreating into the home to hang with her dancers. 'It's always a blessing for me to be here in Los Angeles, which I love,' Marant said. 'It's a city that's really inspiring to me and resembles me.' She added that she feels 'at home' in L.A. because of 'all the cool girls with the Isabel Marant vibe.' She then laughed, 'We're hungry,' before servers began streaming into the soiree with plates of cucumber salad followed by Pacific striped bass and coal-roasted beef loin entrees. Dessert featured pieces of tiramisu cut from a cake that was so enormous it needed to be carried out of the kitchen by two people. Guests included former 'Mad Men' co-stars Allison Brie and January Jones, Rachel Bilson, Lily Rabe, Stephanie Suganami, Madeline Brewer and models Dree Hemingway, Ever Anderson, Hilary Rhoda and Salem Mitchell. Milla Jovovich – who served as a co-host – attended with her look-a-like model daughter Anderson. The dinner also marked the first Net-A-Porter event for its new CEO Heather Kaminetsky, who joined the company just five weeks ago. 'Tonight, we're celebrating an incredible collaboration, but really what we're celebrating is a true creative force – Isabel Marant,' Kaminetsky said. 'Isabel is the queen of Parisian style and a favorite among the Net-A-Porter customers. This collaboration and collection that she put together for us is timeless and easy to take for travel from the city streets top the beach and back again and everything in between. At Net-A-Porter we really try to creative memorable fashion moment just for the girl who's confident and loves fashion and just likes to have a good time.' Guess who! Noughties pop star who gained massive success for her Devil Wears Prada anthem looks unrecognisable at Sydney Airport

She's the Scottish-born singer who enjoyed huge chart success thanks to the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada which featured her catchy song, Suddenly I See. The hitmaker has enjoyed a decades long career and picked up numerous accolades, including two Ivor Novello Awards. Her debut album Eye to the Telescope catapulted her to international stardom, selling more than five million copies globally. It was also the 51st best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK. Now 49, the songstress is currently in Australia as the support act for US rockers Train during their five-date Down Under tour. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. KT Tunstall looked unrecognisable when she was spotted arriving at Sydney Airport ahead of her ICC Theatre show on Saturday. She wore a sleeveless cream and tan jacket from French designer Isabel Marant. Dressing for warmth, Tunstall rugged up with a plain black jumper with loose-fitting sleeves. She could not hide her rocker persona though, stepping out in a pair of form-fitting grey acid wash jeans with seam details on the thighs. Tunstall finished her outfit with a pair of chunky black combat-style boots that enveloped the cuffs of her jeans. She added an extra element of disguise with a pair of yellow-tinted sunglasses and finished her look with a leather crossbody bag and some subtle silver bling in her ears and on her wrists. Tunstall recently revealed that she went deaf in one ear after attending a Spice Girls concert. She explained on Channel Ten's The Project she had travelled on a long flight to get to the concert. However, the pressure of the flight and the loud music at the show led to her suffering from sensorineural hearing loss (SSHL). 'I lost my hearing on tour in 2018 on one side. [Earlier] I had come off a long haul flight and I went to a Spice Girls concert which was amazing,' Tunstall explained. 'I guess it was a combination of working too hard, travelling too much and something too loud and I lost some of my hearing.' Tunstall also revealed she suffered from vertigo for three months but it eventually disappeared. She recently told OK! magazine: 'It was a huge shock. I'm 97 per cent deaf in that ear now and can't use a hearing aid because it's gone too far.... 'I'm not blaming the Spice Girls, but I think it overloaded my nervous system. I woke up with ringing in my ear, like I'd gone underwater. I couldn't hear the car indicator or a shower in another room.' 'But the worst part wasn't the deafness, it was the vertigo. 'I lost my balance completely, for two or three months. That was really disabling. Thankfully it passed, and I can still write, record, perform - just in mono. 'I started seeing it as a message from the universe telling me to slow down, look after myself. I still tour, but I'm more careful.' As she prepares to turn 50 later this year and celebrate the 20th anniversary of her breakthrough album Eye To The Telescope, Tunstall admitted she feels like it is the end of an era but that she is proud of her age and how she remains a force in the music industry. Tunstall, who has released eight studio albums, is perhaps best known for the 2005 track Suddenly I See. The track featured prominently in the 2006 film Devil Wears Prada starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. The song's inclusion in the soundtrack definitely did not hinder its success, peaking at number 12 on the UK chart - giving Tunstall her most successful single to date in the UK. Speaking about the song's association with the hit film in 2007, Tunstall said she found it 'amusing', given it was inspired by punk poet icon Patti Smith. 'The whole thing with The Devil Wears Prada was very amusing,' she said. 'The song is actually about the photograph of Patti Smith on the cover of Horses. I didn't realize the lyrics could perfectly fit a chick flick, and it could sound like I was singing about wanting to be a f***ing model!'
