What Isaiah Horton thinks of Alabama football QB Ty Simpson: 'I believe in him' Isaiah Horton knows what a good quarterback looks like. Kind of one of the reasons why I came here, to get back with him. He's a stud. He's going to be one of them ones. I believe in him. That's my guy." In an interview with the Tuscaloosa News in February, Simpson said Horton called him immediately when the wide receiver entered the transfer portal. '(Horton) was like, 'Hey, Alabama hit me up. What do you think?'' Simpson said. 'And I was like, 'Dude, you're crazy if you don't come visit and come here. … This offense is built for guys like you.'' "We see what we got," Horton said. "And we know we're going to be nice. We know we're going to be special. And we are. We just got to keep working." Alabama will hold its annual A Day spring game at Bryant-Denny Stadium at noon April 12. Colin Gay covers Alabama football for The Tuscaloosa News, part of the USA TODAY Network.
