John Harbaugh: I want to see Isaiah Likely be an All-Pro
Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely is entering the final year of his rookie deal, recently noting that he's focused on making plays happen rather than his contract. But if his head coach's vision comes to fruition, Likely will be in line for a big payday moving forward. 'I want to see [Likely] be an All-Pro,' John Harbaugh said in his press conference this week. 'That'd be my goal for him, and he's capable of it.' Likely has flashed his potential throughout his first three seasons. A fourth-round pick in 2022, he's been the second tight end to Mark Andrews for much of his career. In last year's season opener, he caught nine passes for 111 yards with a touchdown — and nearly had a second at the end of the game. But Likely didn't have another 100-yard game for the rest of the season. His top output was four catches for 75 yards in a Week 11 loss to the Steelers. He ended the year with 42 receptions for 477 yards with six touchdowns. Entering 2025, Likely said this week that he sees himself as a versatile piece for the offensive unit. 'I feel like in the offense, whether I'm out wide, in-line, in the backfield, anywhere, really just understanding [my job] and making plays where the plays really aren't there to be made,' Likely said of his expectations for the upcoming season. 'Just always trying to go the distance. Whether I catch a pass, whether I'm blocking down the field, always trying to make an explosive play happen while I'm on the field.' In 49 total games with 19 starts, Likely has 108 catches for 1,261 yards with 14 TDs.

Isaiah Likely finally delivers his response to an old Patrick Mahomes jab
Isaiah Likely finally delivers his response to an old Patrick Mahomes jab Likely plays the long game and lands a well-time jab on Patrick Mahomes. Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season... Opening night in the house of the defending Super Bowl champions... The National Football League's schedule makers got this one right. The Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, two teams that met in the previous AFC Championship Game, kicked off pro football's 105th campaign. There was no shortage of fireworks. And, the game ended with a bit of controversy. Isaiah Likely balled out. He was targeted a dozen times and netted 111 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine receptions. Lamar Jackson called his number repeatedly, and his young tight end delivered each time. Then came the final play of regulation and the evening. Let's say the flock didn't get the end that it was hoping for. It was an unfortunate ending to what felt like it would be one of the most thrilling Ravens victories of recent memory. Still emotional after a three-hour ride that carried us late into the evening, Patrick Mahomes didn't endear himself to the flock when asked for his take on the TD reversal. White shoes? Really? Yeah, this guy is one of the best of this era, but has anyone noticed that his personality has seemingly become more annoying ever since he was featured on that Quarterback documentary on Netflix? Isaiah Likely finally offers his response to Patrick Mahomes' jab more than eight months later. Much can happen in nine months, including a full-term pregnancy. It's been nearly nine months since the Chiefs and Ravens began another NFL season with a thrilling ode to our great game at Arrowhead Stadium. They say the losses are harder to get over than the wins. Maybe that's true. Here we sit, again, nearly nine months after Mahomes' jab, and it doesn't sit any better than when he first said it. The Ravens get their shot at revenge in Week 4. The visit K.C. and earn another shot at Mahomes and company. To tide us over, Isaiah Likely finally took his opportunity to respond to Mahomes' jab from last September. Isaiah was a guest on Up & Adams recently. It was an intriguing conversation. He expressed his love for Baltimore and the Ravens organization. Another of the highlights was his response to Kay Adams' questions, one of which asked if he was considering wearing white shoes for the upcoming campaign. Here's a bold prediction. This one ends with another Ravens fourth-quarter drive to determine the outcome. Again, Action Jackson looks for Likely with the game on the line. Again, Isaiah hauls in the go-ahead TD. Again, Baltimore's young tight end is wearing black cleats. This time, however, the Ravens' final TD doubles as a go-ahead score. Baltimore leaves Arrowhead with a critical road victory. This time, the Chiefs' kingdom leaves their hallowed ground in stunned silence.

The future of the Ravens' TE position depends on making three tough roster decisions
The future of the Ravens' TE position depends on making three tough roster decisions The future of the Ravens' tight end position may depend on choosing between the top three players on the depth chart At the time of this story's release, the Baltimore Ravens' offseason roster included 90 players. As the summer months wear on and we near the 2025 regular season, that number will eventually be trimmed to a 53-man unit and a scout team (practice squad) with 16 members. Of the 90 players mentioned, 35 aren't signed past this season, so unless they are extended, their time with the flock will end when the coming campaign does. That number, 35, includes all three top tight ends on the depth chart, leaving Baltimore with at least two huge decisions about Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. The Ravens' future may involve keeping one tight end over two other? As time expired in the Divisional Round of the most recent NFL Playoffs, the Ravens' dreams of championship glory came to a screeching halt. Everyone began crafting narratives about the impending offseason. Many of those narratives included all-world tight end Mark Andrews. Might he remain in Baltimore? Might he be allowed to walk during the offseason? Many assumed the latter option was more realistic. As we moved through April, the organization's leadership structure seemed hopeful but noncommittal. The mixed signals continued after his $4 million option bonus was honored, but there were no guarantees about his long-term future. We move toward OTAs and training camp. It seems more likely he'll stay, but again, his contract expires in 2026. To add to the depth Baltimore had at the tight end position, they acquired Charlie Kolar during Round 4 of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 128th selection. Then, they double-dipped. Isaiah Likely was selected 139th overall. Like Andrews, their contracts expire at the end of the Ravens' season. This team's significant fan base loves its three-headed monster at tight end. All have returned said love in kind. Likely was recently a guest on Up & Adams and expressed such, further endearing himself to the fans and organization by stating Baltimore was where he wanted to be. Love alone won't do it, though. Remember those 35 free agents. Ar'Darius Washington, Odafe Oweh, Kyle Van Noy, Travis Jones, and Tyler Linderbaum are the other Ravens with expiring contracts. In a salary cap-driven league, it's impossible to retain everyone. The Ravens can't and won't pay top dollar for three tight ends when they have to invest financial resources elsewhere. Andrews, Kolar, and Likely have comprised the best trio at the position for several seasons now, but the coming campaign doubles as an audition. It will determine who stays and who goes.

Ravens TE trolls Bengals over Joe Burrow's comments about another night game in Baltimore
Ravens TE trolls Bengals over Joe Burrow's comments about another night game in Baltimore During a guest spot on Up & Adams, Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely told Kay Adams that he doesn't know the name of the Bengals stadium when asked about Joe Burrow's complaints about a night game The Cincinnati Bengals will be road warriors on Thanksgiving night and face a familiar opponent in a dreaded setting. Cincinnati is scheduled for a Week 13 game against the Ravens, its division rival that has won the AFC North in back-to-back seasons. Joe Burrow voiced his displeasure with his team playing Baltimore in prime time for the fourth-straight year. "Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight prime-time year isn't ideal," Burrow said after Tuesday's voluntary workout. "Maybe we can get one of those in Cincinnati next year. Please." During a guest spot on Up & Adams, Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely jokingly told Kay Adams that he doesn't know the name of the Bengals' stadium when asked about Joe Burrow's complaints. The Bengals play at Paycor Stadium, but it's not a hot spot for primetime affairs. Three of Cincinnati's four scheduled night games this year are road contests. The matchup features the AFC North's most successful teams in recent years. The Bengals won the division in 2021 and 2022 before the Ravens took the division crown in 2023 and 2024. Baltimore has won four straight games against Cincinnati.

Isaiah Likely further endears himself to the loyal members of the Ravens' flock
Isaiah Likely further endears himself to the loyal members of the Ravens' flock Since his arrival, Isaiah Likely was immediately welcomed in by Ravens fans and teammates, and that love affair won't stall any following a recent interview. Time flies when you're having fun. Believe it or not, it's already year four of the Isaiah Likely experience with the Baltimore Ravens, making this a contract season. He's already constructed an impressive resume. Teaming with one of the game's best, Mark Andrews, and another 2022 fourth-round draftee, Charlie Kolar, that trio comprises one of the game's best groups of tight ends from the top of the depth chart to the bottom. Last season, Likely notched 42 receptions on 58 targets during the regular season. That effort resulted in 477 yards receiving and six touchdowns during 16 games. His career total after 49 games stands at 108 snags, 1,261 yards receiving, and 14 trips to the end zone. He has also pitched in with 11 receptions, 176 yards receiving, and TDs during five postseason appearances with another start. However, he isn't promised anything past this season as he is scheduled to hit free agency during the 2026 offseason. No one should find it necessary to ask him where he'd like to stay, but if they did, the answer wouldn't be surprising. Isaiah Likely offers his love note to the Ravens and their fans on Up & Adams. If you've followed Kay Adams' career since she left NFL Network's Good Morning Football breakfast table, you've undoubtedly enjoyed what you have seen. Her Up & Adams brand is necessary viewing, especially when the Ravens are the topic. She recently interviewed Isaiah Likely, and even though Baltimore's fans didn't need additional reasons to love him, he gave them another in a heartfelt message that The Flock is certain to enjoy. Here's where things get interesting. As mentioned, Isaiah and Charlie must be given extensions if they are to remain on the roster past this season, but the same is true for Mark Andrews. How much money would Baltimore be interested in investing to keep this unit together past this coming regular season? Following Derrick Henry's recent extension, there is still work to do. They still have 35 players on the preseason roster who are scheduled to hit free agency after the coming campaign. First things first. The focus must shift to qualifying for football's biggest game and winning. The rest, as they say, will take care of itself.
