Nhlanhla Koebu, popularly known as Bhuti Omdala, graduates from content creator to actor with new role.
His character Kinati is a 36-year-old con artist who swindles the rich by pretending to be a homeless nine-year-old.
Thenjiwe and her Sokhulu family are about to see flames as Kinati turns their lives upside down.
Popular TikToker Bhuti Omdala, whose given name is Nhlanhla Koebu, officially joins a list of social media influencers-turned-television actors, after bagging a role on telenovela, Isitha: The Enemy.
The charismatic social media sensation brings his larger-than-life personality, which has cemented him as a favourite with his huge online following, to his new character, Kinati, which fans will get a first glance of on Tuesday night, 19 August.
Reminiscent of the Netflix thriller Orphan, which is about an adult woman posing as a child to dupe a grieving couple into adopting her, Kinati (36) is a con artist using his small stature to pass off as a nine-year-old boy. In the film, the adult posing as Esther, suffers from hypopituitarism, a hormonal disorder that stunts her physical growth, resulting in proportional dwarfism.
Viewers are in for a bumpy ride as the introduction of scammer Kinati promises to bring complications and pandemonium into Thenjiwe Sokhulu's's life. When he is not smoking like a chimney and drinking like a fish as an adult, a deceptive Kinati pulls the wool over Thenjiwe's eyes by portraying himself as a naïve and respectful child.

By bamboozling Thenjiwe into believing that he is a destitute minor, Kinati tugs so hard at her heartstrings that the wealthy heiress to the Sokhulu empire's compassion leads her to 'bond with the cute young man'. Embracing his inner Tinder Swindler, Koebu's character cons Thenjiwe and her family out of the possessions that they have spent many years accumulating.
