LIVE: Israel accused of war crimes after video shows attack on 15 medics

Update: Date: 14m ago (01:00 GMT) Title: Eight killed in Israeli attack on south Gaza Content: We've been covering the Israeli attack on the Abdel Hadi family home in Khan Younis. The Quds News Network is reporting that at least eight Palestinians were killed and several more wounded in that attack. Earlier, we reported that the victims included Palestinian journalist Islam Maqdad. Footage of the attack, posted online by Palestinian media, shows a large fire at the targeted site and medics and civilians recovering the bodies of the victims from the rubble. Translation: The retrieval of martyrs and wounded as a result of the occupation targeting the home of the Abdel Hadi family, west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Update: Date: 29m ago (00:45 GMT) Title: Who are the British legislators deported from Israel? Content: Sky News is reporting that the two British legislators that Israel has detained and denied entry to are Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed. The broadcaster, citing a statement from Israeli immigration ministry, said the two legislators, who are from the governing Labour Party, were refused entry because they were suspected of plans to 'document the activities of security forces and spread anti-Israel hatred'. Yang represents the Earley and Woodley constituency, while Mohamed is the MP for Sheffield Central. Both had flown to Israel from Luton on Saturday, Sky News said. As we've been reporting, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy has condemned the move, saying he has made it clear to Israel that 'this is no way to treat British Parliamentarians.' He added, 'The UK government's focus remains securing a return to the ceasefire and negotiations to stop the bloodshed, free the hostages and end the conflict in Gaza.' Update: Date: 44m ago (00:30 GMT) Title: Palestinian journalist killed in Israeli attack on south Gaza Content: Our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic are reporting that Islam Maqdad was killed in an Israeli attack on Khan Younis. The attack targeted the home of the Abdel Hadi family. Several others were killed and wounded. We'll bring you more soon. Update: Date: 59m ago (00:15 GMT) Title: Scepticism in Israel over military account of emergency worker killings Content: Israeli media reports are citing an initial investigation by the Israeli military that walks back some of the claims that have been debunked in that harrowing video of the killing of paramedics from the Palestine Red Crescent. However, Israel is still seemingly doubling down on the claim that six of the 15 victims that Israeli soldiers killed were Hamas fighters. There is a lot of scepticism, even in Israeli media, as to the Israeli army's response. Some have even said that this is a cover-up. There is very little faith that an Israeli military investigation will yield accountability. In fact, Israel's top human rights organisation, B'Tselem, had already said that this military law enforcement mechanism is nothing but a fig leaf for the Israeli occupation. There's been a pattern throughout this genocide of Israel walking back a lot of its accounts when it kills humanitarian workers, and it has done a lot of that. Update: Date: 1h ago (00:07 GMT) Title: WATCH: Video shows last moments of Gaza medics killed by Israel Content: New video reveals what happened in an Israeli attack that killed 15 medics, including eight from the Palestine Red Crescent. The footage was discovered on the mobile phone of one of the victims. It disproves the Israeli army's version of the shootings. Watch our video report below: This is a modal window.
