Abbie Chatfield has last laugh after Brit's parking fumble

A British woman has been served a dose of karma after committing a parking faux pas on an Australian media star's property. Media sensation Abbie Chatfield took to social media on Sunday to recount the 'crazy interaction' she had on her Bondi driveway to her 667,000 followers. The star had left to take her dog for a walk when she noticed a woman in a Mazda had parked an inch away from her car, with the Mazda's backend 'halfway over the driveway'. 'Literally, you could not get a car out at all,' the It's A Lot podcast host told her followers. Chatfield said she felt compelled to approach the woman about the parking job as she had previously heard 'people from England park recklessly'. 'She's not from here, I thought she was confused,' she explained as the motivation behind letting the woman know the move was illegal. Instead of acknowledging the parking blunder and moving her vehicle, Chatfield said the British woman instead became increasingly angry in response. 'She was yelling 'I didn't ask you'…. I told her I didn't want to fight (her). 'I said, 'Babes, people live in this apartment building, they have 4WDs and utes'.' She told the woman it was a 'nightmare' to get out of the driveway, which was reportedly met with laughter and refusal to move — a reaction the Bachelor alumnus took a moment to directly address. 'Why are you laughing that you're committing a crime? Why are you laughing that you're being incredibly disrespectful, blocking someone's driveway, and yelling at a stranger? 'You obviously have no respect for our garden and no respect for our footpath.' Chatfield got the last laugh, however — taking to social media with a follow-up video later that day showing the Mazda's driver received their karma in the form of a $330 fine. 'Well, well, well…. I tried to warn her,' the star joked while showing the ranger ticket underneath the car's wiper. The comments were just as happy as Chatfield to see the woman had gotten fined for the act. 'Karmas so swift sometimes!' one follower wrote. 'This is so incredibly cathartic,' another agreed. Another commenter chimed in: 'Oof $330 is a big fine too, she's going to regret that!' Even Aussie comedian Matt Hey jumped in, saying the payback 'was everything'. Blocking a driveway is illegal in all Australian states. If a parked vehicle obstructs access to a driveway, fines between $100 and $590 apply depending on local council policies. PerthNow reached out to Abbie Chatfield's representatives, however, did not receive a response.

Driver fined $330 for blocking Abbie Chatfield's Bondi driveway

Don't miss out on the headlines from Lifestyle. Followed categories will be added to My News. A British woman has copped a $330 fine after she parked across the driveway of a well known media personality, who tried to help her avoid the blunder. Abbie Chatfield, who lives in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, shared that she was walking her dog Walter when she had the 'craziest interaction' outside her apartment block. The 30-year-old revealed that while outside she witnessed a British woman drive up the street, almost hitting Chatfield's car, before proceeding to park 'halfway across the driveway'. 'You could not get a car out at all,' Chatfield said. The It's A Lot podcast host said she wasn't going to say anything until the woman asked for her friend's opinion on the park. That's when Chatfield, who is dating musician Adam Hyde, tried to help the woman. For Australia's best lifestyle coverage — download the app direct to your phone. 'I said, 'It actually isn't' because I thought she was confused about the parking rules,' she said. 'I've seen things online about people from England parking recklessly, and I thought maybe she was confused. She's obviously not from here and I was trying to help her to let her know it was illegal.' But, the woman then said that she 'wasn't asking' Chatfield, and when the former reality star tried to explain that people with 4WDs and utes wouldn't be able to get out, the woman argued that 4WDs could drive 'over the gutter'. Picture: Abbie Chatfield/TikTok Chatfield said she was just trying to help the woman, believing she was genuinely confused. Picture: Instagram/@abbiechatfield The woman then refused to move her car, while she and her friends laughed at the Australian star. Chatfield was left stunned by the interaction, saying all she was trying to do was help the woman and her neighbours. Chatfield also revealed that parking rangers are often in the area, saying that before Hyde obtained a parking permit he would be fined for staying as little as 10 minutes longer than he was supposed to. 'I was trying to help her. I thought she was actually wondering. Then she starts yelling at me in this Cockney accent,' Chatfield said. But, it seemed like Chatfield got the last laugh in the end because, as she predicted, the woman copped a fine for blocking the driveway that amounted to $330. 'Well, well, well. I tried to warn her. I tried to tell her. There's also parks up the entire street but she wanted to be a c***,' she said. 'Sorry darling, it's going to cost you.' The woman ended up with a $330 parking fine. Picture: TikTok/@abbiechatfield Fellow social media users felt that the woman got what was coming to her after her rude response to Chatfield. 'I would sit on the deck with a coffee and wait for the show to start,' one social media user said. Another added: 'I'm so petty I would have written, 'You should have listened'.' 'I feel literally so content right now,' one commented. One social media user added: 'Oooft $330 is a big one too. She's gonna regret that.' 'I love this for her,' another said. Another added: 'The way I'm cackling at this.' '$330 as the fine is just so satisfying to me,' one said. 'Brilliant', 'karma' and 'splendid' were among some of the comments on the video. One social media user said it was the 'best possible outcome'. Originally published as Driver fined $330 for blocking star's Bondi driveway

Abbie Chatfield opens up about X-rated act while on holiday

Don't miss out on the headlines from Sex. Followed categories will be added to My News. One of Australia's most well known media personalities has revealed one X-rated thing she is looking forward to on her upcoming trip to Europe. Abbie Chatfield is currently holidaying in Europe with her boyfriend Adam Hyde, one half of Peking Duk, in honour of her 30th birthday. But, during an Ask Me Anything on her popular Listnr podcast It's A Lot, she revealed one thing she was really excited about ahead of the trip. 'For those of you who don't know, I went to a sex club in Sydney with my friends and I walked in, and the girl behind the bar goes, 'It's Abbie Chatfield,' Chatfield said on the podcast. Abbie Chatfield has spoken about an X-rated thing she is looking forward to on her trip. Picture: Instagram Being recognised soured the experience for the 30-year-old, who was in lingerie at the time, and therefore she did not partake in any of the activities at the venue. 'I felt deeply uncomfortable and anxious the entire time, people were coming up to me and recognising me — no one's allowed phones so it was actually worse,' she said. Chatfield added she and Hyde, who also performs under the name Keli Holiday, have been monogamous throughout their relationship — and will likely continue to do so. But, the trip to Europe allows them to explore their sexuality as a couple without being recognised. 'I've been gagging for a threesome,' Chatfield said bluntly. 'I've been gagging to f*** a woman, you know I'm a bisexual girly pop. But we haven't been able to — like, in Australia, who are we going to have a threesome with?' Chatfield said there was a difference between her sharing her sex life publicly, and others talking about her sex life. She also expressed that she enjoys the idea of watching Hyde have sex with another woman. Chatfield has been open about her bisexuality. Picture: Instagram Chatfield with boyfriend Adam Hyde. Picture: Instagram 'The shame kink is only in the moment, not once it's over,' she said. She said the couple have spoken a lot about experiencing a sex club in Europe, including their boundaries and what they are willing to do. 'I think on the first time we go, we should go and agree to only f*** each other and not touch anyone else,' she said. She said the next time they go to a sex club, they will talk more about what they would be willing to do outside of their relationship. Chatfield expressed that she only wanted to have sexual relationships outside of Hyde with a woman — she said she didn't want to make any other men happy. 'No men I meet in a sex club will ever respect me as much as Adam — and I've never really been into random hook ups,' she said. Abbie Chatfield tearfully announces break from social media after a 'horrible year' of trolling: 'I need time off, desperately'

Abbie Chatfield has revealed that she is taking a break from social media after what she says has been a 'horrible year.' The influencer, 29, shared an expansive and emotional video to TikTok in which she outlined the reasoning behind her decision. She said that 'endless trolling' from 'right-wing freaks' had finally reached breaking point and that she needs time away from social media to 'protect her brain.' Over the next four weeks, Abbie's social media feeds will only feature pre-recorded clips for her It's A Lot Podcast. 'For the next month, I'm not going to be posting on social media at all except for pre-scheduled content for the podcast,' she revealed. 'I really need time off from the internet - like desperately.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Giving followers an insight into the level of trolling, Abbie said that the amount of abuse she receives online was 'endless'. 'It's been really horrific this past six months with the amount of violent trolling that I have received,' she said. 'It's hundreds of messages a day. It's really traumatising and I don't like saying that because I know that trolls want to hurt me. 'Ever since the end of last year the trolling has become increasingly violent and aggressive from people that don't like me. It's day, every day.' Abbie continued: 'Just imagine if every single day you received a hundred texts saying that people were going to SA [sexually assault] you, people want to be violent towards you, people hate you. 'I cant even enjoy TikTok because my for you page is videos about me - people making fun of me.' She also claimed that the vitriol had gotten so bad over the past year that she has even experienced suicidal ideation. 'I haven't really gone a day in the past eight months without having thoughts of un-aliving myself so, I really need a break because, when I get to have a day off without my phone, I'm able to get back to being normal,' Abbie tearfully admitted. 'I'm sick of being lied about, I'm sick of being attacked by right wing freaks and losers.' Abbie also revealed that she was currently in the process of writing a book - a process made almost impossible when coupled with the emotional drain of dealing with internet trolls. 'I've decided to put in like a boundary for myself to protect my brain because it's been extraordinarily difficult this year and it's incredibly exhausting,' she said. 'I'm also writing a book right now and, in order to write the book I need to be mentally clear because the constant criticism I receive makes me paralysed to write or actually do anything because I believe I am what everyone says I am.' Abbie's emotional admission comes after her online rival Clementine Ford defended Abbie amid their ongoing internet stoush. The pair have been exchanging barbs for weeks after Clementine accused Abbie of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged'. However, the pair have appeared to have found some common ground, with Clementine defending Abbie in an explosive response to an online troll. She shared an image to her Instagram story on Thursday that showed a very off-colour remark by a troll account called 'Right Of Centre'. The comment read: 'Two ugly xx trolls. Men should not help them at all. 'If they're being mugged they're not worth it - too ugly - only good looking nice women deserve chivalry on any level.' Clementine responded swiftly, slamming the commenter as an 'incel creep'. 'Regardless of my views on AC [Abbie Chatfield], I'm pretty sure neither of us need or have ever needed nor have ever asked for men to help us - especially not weird little incel creeps who blame women for their basement position on the male hierarchy,' she said. 'F*** off, loser. We both know you would p*** your pants in fear if one of us even looked in your direction.' Abbie and Clementine's feud began when the latter wrote on her 'Dear Clementine' blog on Substack that some influencers, like Abbie, profit from the 'performance of being politically engaged' while criticising anyone who disagrees with them. Abbie Chatfield's boyfriend and Peking Duk frontman Adam Hyde shares VERY harsh message for Peter Dutton live on stage at wild gig

Abbie Chatfield 's boyfriend made his political views well known at a gig in Margaret River over the weekend. Adam Hyde, who fronts the DJ duo Peking Duk alongside Reuben Styles, played a show at the Settlers Tavern on Saturday night as it was revealed the Labour party led by Anthony Albanese had won the Australian 2025 election. At the raging gig, Adam played The Angels' 1977 hit Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again and could be heard leading a chant, yelling into the microphone: 'No way get f***ed Dutton,' which the crowd joined in on. It is assumed that the DJ was referring to Peter Dutton, the leader of the Liberal party who fell behind in the polls and lost his parliamentary seat on Saturday night. In the clip, Adam wore a white singlet that showed off his toned, tattooed arms along with a pair of black pants fitted with a belt. The frontman, who began dating media personality Abbie last June, wore his messy locks in curls which fell over his shoulders as he riled up the crowd. The It's A Lot podcast host, 29, could be seen crying as she celebrated Peter Dutton falling behind in the polls, telling her followers she was 'so proud of Australians' who gave their support to Anthony Albanese and the Greens. 'This is the most important election of our lives. There are so many things at stake here... This is just so relieving. This is so important for our mental health not living in a country where the majority of people are hateful,' she said. 'I really do believe Australians are intelligent, empathetic people as a whole... It felt like we were American levels of divided, this result has shown we aren't divided. 'We are so lucky to live in the best election system in the whole world.' As for Greens leader Adam Bandt, who Abbie has been a staunch supporter of, the former reality TV star said she was disappointed the party wasn't in the lead, but was happy to see Opposition Leader Peter Dutton falling behind. 'I'm very upset about the Greens situation obviously, but... I'm just so proud of Australians for not doing what Americans did,' she said, referencing Donald Trump winning the last US election for presidency. She went on to say she has been mercilessly 'trolled' by her critics and Liberal supporters in the lead up to the election. It comes after Abbie Chatfield (pictured) was left in tears as she went on Instagram live to film her real-time reaction to the vote count for the 2025 Federal Election 'I've never been trolled harder. I've been trolled to s***. It's been the worst it's ever been. It's all been worth it,' she said. A few hours before the vote, Abbie called for her followers to put 'the Libs last' on their ballots as she shared a gallery of photos which saw her posing with Bandt. She donned bright green slacks and a white T-shirt to show her support for the party as she took pictures with the Greens leader/ One photo saw Chatfield sitting on a desk with her arms cross as Bandt slipped on a pair of dark sunglasses and took a seat behind the desk. The last image in the gallery saw Abbie throwing her hands up and jumping with joy in front of a Greens billboard. 'AUSTRALIA YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!' she captioned the reel.
