AZ Martinez returns to music school after 'Pinoy Big Brother' stint
It looks like AZ Martinez is ready to chase new musical heights. On Instagram, the Academy of Rock Philippines shared photos of the Sparkle star as she made her return to the music school. 'Guess who's back at Academy of Rock? It's none other than Ms. [AZ Martinez], fresh from PBB Collab Edition!,' the post said. 'We're incredibly proud of you and honored that you continue to trust us in your music journey. Welcome back, Az!' it added. In one of the photos, AZ could be seen inside a recording booth, grinning behind a mic and music stand, clearly in her element. 'So happy to be back!' AZ commented. AZ is part of the Big Four of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' She and her duo River Joseph (AZVer) were named the fourth big placers. On Saturday, the 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' housemates came together and performed on the 'It's Showtime' stage. Klarisse and Mika Salamanca sang 'Sino Nga Ba Siya' and then joined Will Ashley, Shuvee Etrata, and Esnyr in dancing the viral 'Woah, Woah, Woah' steps. After their production number, Klarisse was asked who among them is her favorite 'child.' 'Ang paborito ko ngayon, para maiba naman, si Mika at si Shuvee ang paborito ko,' Klarisse said, clarifying that all of them are really her favorite. When asked about their reactions after finding out that Pamilya De Guzman had fans in the outside world, Will said that he was surprised. 'Nagulat po ako pagkalabas ko. Hindi ko in-expect na 'yung relationship na na-build namin do'n na talagang nakita ng mga tao na genuine talaga,' he said. Mika added, 'Nagpapasalamat po kaming lahat sa patuloy na sumusuporta sa 'min at nakikita po 'yung pagmamahal namin sa isa't-isa even sa outside world.' Prior to their 'It's Showtime' guesting, the group did a hilarious video dancing and playfighting. Pamilya De Guzman formed a familial bond inside the PBB house. They also launched an Instagram broadcast channel, which now has over 1 million subscribers. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" ended its four-month run on July 5. Mika and Brent Manalo (BreKa) won the title of Big Winner Duo. Ralph De Leon and Will (RaWi) placed second, Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (CharEs) placed third, and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer) placed fourth. The 20 housemates will reunite on August 10 for "The Big ColLOVE" at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Shuvee Etrata visits family in Cebu with Anthony Constantino
Shuvee Etrata went home to Bantayan Island, Cebu, to visit her family, and none other than Anthony Constantino, her TDH — tall, dark, handsome — suitor accompanied her! According to Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Friday, the Sparkle star visited her family amid her busy schedule to take care of some family matters. "I made sure na even if I'm busy, ayoko pong matapos or masira po 'yung relationship namin ng pamilya namin doon sa Bantayan so inuwi ko siya para ayusin and naging maayos naman. Kasama ko po ang buong pamilya ko naman doon," she said. She got to spend quality time with her family members, who she said are happy for all of her success. She also quipped that Anthony came with her to Bantayan Island so he could court her family. "I was with Anthony po sa Bantayan kasi nanligaw din siya sa buong pamilya doon, so walang katapusang panliligaw 'to. Magsisi siya," she said, laughing. Anthony was among the people who welcomed Shuvee into the outside world after her exit from "Pinoy Big Brother" with her duo Klarisse De Guzman. In an interview with GMA Integrated News back in June, Shuvee shared that Anthony has been courting her even before she entered Bahay ni Kuya. Meanwhile, Shuvee has been booked and busy after capping her "PBB" journey, guest-hosting in "Unang Hirit" and "It's Showtime." She will also appear in an episode of "Pinas Sarap" on Saturday. The Sparkle actress, who currently stars in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Veshdita is set to star in the upcoming show "Master Cutter" with Dingdong Dantes and fellow "PBB" housemate Charlie Fleming. Her life story will likewise be featured in a "Magpakailanman" episode soon. Per Shuvee, she's grateful for all the love and support she's been receiving in the outside world. Shuvee Etrata is booked and busy! Three television shows on GMA just had a cute online interaction over the Island Ate ng Cebu and netizens are here for it. On X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook Wednesday afternoon, "Unang Hirit" first communicated their interest on Shuvee and tagged the popular noontime show, where the former PBB celebrity housemate would often guest host. "Sa Unang Hirit muna si muse reporter Shuvee bukas ha," UH tweeted as it tagged "It's Showtime." Hilariously, the X account of "It's Showtime" replied: "Salamat at naka pinned post pa ito haaaaa nagreply na ko sa blue app, tnx tnx." Netizens couldn't help but pipe in. "Two long running shows from two different stations casually co-parenting and sharing custody of shuvee" one said. "Taray. May custody battle Unang Hirit at its showtime over high demand is giving big winner behavior," said another.
