Man arrested for hand-to-hand drug transactions in Bristol
BRISTOL, Conn (WTNH) — A Bristol man is facing drug charges after police say he was seen conducting multiple hand-to-hand drug transactions.
On Thursday night, Bristol's Crime Suppression Unit and Narcotics Enforcement Team were surveilling the Pine Street area when they observed hand-to-hand drug transactions from an individual seated in a vehicle.
After approaching the vehicle, police took Iunre Smart, 34, of Bristol, into custody and charged him with criminal possession of a firearm, weapons in a vehicle, and sale of a narcotic substance.
Police found a firearm and 96 Oxycodone pills in Smart's possession.
Smart will appear in the New Britain Court.
