WWE WrestleMania 41 Results, Winners And Grades On Night 2

John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania Sunday WWE WrestleMania Sunday, (Night 2) emanated from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. After an instant classic of a main event on WrestleMania Saturday, Night 2 will have a tough act to follow. But with John Cena headlining against Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship, they'll be more than capable of doing so. WrestleMania Sunday also advertised Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky in a Triple Threat for the Women's World Championship, a Fatal 4-Way for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and Logan Paul vs. AJ Styles. WWE will have two mystery reveals tonight. Bayley was pulled from the card in controversial fashion, and Lyra Valkyria will have a mystery partner rumored to be Becky Lynch. Kevin Owens was pulled from WrestleMania 41 due to a real-life injury, and with his replacement being kept a surprise all the way up to the show of shows, some are speculating this could be a high-profile return like Rusev, who recently signed with WWE. Iyo Sky, the world champion, entered first with no fanfare whatsoever Bianca Belair received a double-dutch entrance, as I requested last year. Rhea Ripley was cheered the loudest, followed by Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair, who was booed. There were loud Iyo chants after a backflip to the outside on Rhea. Rhea was the third-biggest star of this match (a high bar) but it's best performer. Bianca went for a double KOD while Rhea had Iyo in her in a Prism Trap. Instead she stuck Rhea with the KOD. "This is Awesome" chants ensued. There was an excellent Tower of Doom spot, and Iyo Sky got the better of it. "This is Awesome" chants again. Bianca joined the extremely small list of women who have kicked out of the Riptide. Rhea was beside herself. Iyo once again countered a Riptide from the second rope, only to eat a KOD and kickout. Staying true to the story of this feud, Bianca had Rhea Ripley beat with a KOD, but she overlooked Iyo Sky, who hit a Moonsault during the pin. Iyo won to one of the biggest pops of the weekend. Iyo leveled up, and Bianca vs. Rhea will be a great feud. Bianca suffered her first WrestleMania loss in Las Vegas, which is becoming a house of horrors for the EST. Drew McIntyre got a sword-in-the-stone inspired entrance. Not to be outdone, Damian Priest had a live musical entrance with smoke, fire and the guitarist from Slayer. For the second year in a row, McIntyre tweeted during his WrestleMania match. The Tweet? "Still bored at work lol." Huge pop. Damian Priest hit an impressive chokeslam on McIntyew while Priest still had a chair around his neck. McIntyre attempted a White Noise from the second rope, only to be countered by a Razor's Edge. Drew hit a sick Future shock on the steel stairs for a nearfall. The "this is awesome" streak has now reached two on Night 2. Priest tried going Old School. This time Drew countered by pushing him through two tables. There was a lot of support for Drew McIntyre from the crowd. The incredible finish came when McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick through a chair lodged in the second rope. The action was kept mostly in the ring, despite being a Sin City Street Fight, but it still went crazy. The dogs were barking loud for Bron Breakker early. Breakker hit an early Spear on Dom for a nearfall after the pin was broken up. There was a surprising "Dirty Dom" chant. Breaker hit an amazing double German suplex on Finn Balor and Penta. Fans cheered when Dom reentered the match, and even chanted "Eddie" when he hit the Three Amigo suplexes. Brin Breakker hit another feat of strength with a double suplex. He followed it up with a Breakkensteiner. Din crashed the match again and finally attacked Finn Balor to cheers. "This is Awesome" chants poured into the arena for the third straight match. Bron Breakker hit a Spear through a table. He totaled three Spears during this match, and this was the best. Still, fans chanted "Dirty Dom!" (in European) The finish came when Dom hit a Frog Splash on Finn after Finn hit the Coup de Grace. Fin had previously crotched Dom on the top rope. Dom, who got booed on his way to the ring, not only got cheered for his win, but he got a curtain call. He went from being the biggest heel in WWE to its biggest babyface on the span of one match. Randy Orton's mystery opponent was Joe Hendry. He got a big reaction and fans sang his song. There were TNA chants to start the match. It's 2025, TNA is over at WrestleMania and WWE owns Triple A. Insane. Orton tried an RKO to start the match, only to get rolled up for a nearfall. Joe Hendry posed and postured after one-upping Orton at every turn. He got more over for it every time. Hendry went for a chokeslam on Orton. Orton stifled the move in hilarious fashion. Fans cheered Orton but were really behind Hendry. Hendry posed one too many times and took an RKO for the loss. After the match, Orton raised the hand if the TNA champion, only to stick him with a second RKO. Orton did his signature pose, but got the Hendry camera shot. He gave Hendry a congratulatory pat and walked out. Awesome segment. Logan Paul had his own personal drone camera. He used it during his entrance, and even filmed himself while beating up Styles. He got a ton of hear for it. Outside of Logan being booed out of the building while taunting thr crowd, the heat for this match early was underwhelming. The heat picked up with chants of "you still suck" for Logan Paul after he hit one athletic spot after another. AJ Styles hit a spirited comeback that was celebrated with chants of 'AJ Styles!' Logan Troll hit a Styles Clash, but AJ no-sold it and hit a Styles Clash of his own for a nearfall. One of Logan's goons gave Paul a pair of brass knuckles. Karrion Kross (huge pop) appeared out of nowhere and stole the knuckles. Kross gave Styles the weapon and encouraged him to use it. Babyface styles tossed the knuckles aside, punched Karrion, got booed, got KO'd and lost to the Paulverizer. Great story. Lyra Valkyria, who wore wings, seemed legitimately emotionally overwhelmed during her first WrestleMania appearance. It was a sweet moment. Becky Lynch was Lyra Valkyria's surprise tag team partner and Allegiant went nuts. Lynch is also back as The Man. Lyra took a stiff kick to the gut while going for a top-rope move. Once the fervor died down for Becky, the crowd was muted for this match until it was time to tag in Becky. Having said that, hey did a good job building anticipation toward that moment. After a Becky Lynch Disarmher was broken up, Lyra went wild on Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, including an tornado DDT to the outside on Raquel. Becky finished the match with a Manhandle Slam on Liv for the win. Stine Cold Steve Austin made a surprise appearance and announced 63,226 for Night 2. John Cena's entrance was literally just a Microsoft Word Font. I love it. So on-brand with his heel character. He owes you nothing. No new gear. No flashy entrance. Nothing. Cody Rhodes' entrance was an impressive display of daredevil motorcyclists in the spirit of Evel Knievel. Fans may have broken the decibel meter with how much they were chanting for (and booing) both Cena and Cody. One of the most heated starts to a WrestleMania main event I've ever seen, and think about the ground that covers. Cena garnered heat by stalling multiple times early on, even threatening to leave. This is the first time we've seen Cena work as a heel since his turn. One of the newest move to his arsenal was a big boot. Cena bullied Cody early with a simple offense of throws and holds. They really worked hard to build sympathy for Cody's comeback, but most of the crowd was pro-Cena. Cena continued to deliberately work as a 1980s heel with an axe-handle smash. Cody countered a second attempt, but Cena cut him off with more are handles, this time on the ground. Cody blocked a "You Can't See Me" taunt with a kick, and hit a comeback to more boos than cheers. Cena caught Cody with an AA for a false finish. Cena's second "You Can't See Me" taunt was directed toward the crowd before a successful Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena hit a Super AA, the same move he used to beat AJ Styles for his 16th world title win. Nearfall. Cena countered a Cross Rhodes with another AA followed by an STF. Rhodes kicked Cena into the ref and scored with a Cross Rhodes for a visual eight count. Cena removed the turnbuckle padding and smashed Cody's head into it several times. Cena hit another AA for another nearfall. A wild Travis Scott appeared, onlybfor Cody to get his receipt and hit Scott with a Cross Rhodes. Rhodes stopped Cena from hitting him with the title, but as Cena begged off, Cody took sympathy on John. Heel Cena low-blowed Cody and hit Cody with the belt for the win. A basic, if not underwhelming main event.
