As they often do each preseason, the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers will square off in an exhibition game on Saturday at SoFi Stadium. It's Week 2 of the preseason as both teams continue their preparation for the start of the regular season in less than a month.
The Rams will continue to rest their starters, but the Chargers are taking a different approach by playing some of their top players, including Justin Herbert. That will make this a good test for the Rams' backups, giving them a chance to face some of the Chargers' most important contributors.

The Rams and Chargers play Saturday in Week 2 of the 2025 NFL preseason, continuing their exhibition slate before the regular season begins next month. J.B. Long, Maurice Jones-Drew and Mina Kimes will be in the booth calling the game

Rams vs. Chargers start time
The Rams and Chargers kick off at 7 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. Backups will get all of the snaps for the Rams again on Saturday with Sean McVay resting his starters in advance of the season opener against the Houston Texans.
The Chargers are expected to play their starters, including Herbert. It will be his first-ever start in the preseason.
