J. Kumar Infraprojects bags contract worth Rs 129.04 crore for Mumbai Metro Line 4 and 4A from MMRDA
J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for the construction of foot over bridges (FOBs) for Mumbai Metro Line 4 and 4A. The project will cover Pant Nagar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, and Vijay Garden Metro Station (Package 2), with a total contract value of ₹129.04 crore (excluding GST).
The work will be executed by J. Kumar-PRS (JV), with J. Kumar Infraprojects holding a 60% share worth ₹77.42 crore. The project is expected to be completed within 15 months.
This contract adds to J. Kumar Infraprojects' strong infrastructure portfolio in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, reinforcing its position as a key player in metro and urban transport development projects. The company confirmed that there is no related-party transaction involved in this award.
In the meantime, J. Kumar Infraprojects shares traded in a narrow range on Wednesday, moving between an intraday low of ₹660.00 and a high of ₹674.65. The stock opened at ₹672.00, compared to the previous close of ₹665.95. Over the past 52 weeks, the shares have touched a low of ₹578.00 and a high of ₹903.95.
