Local gold prices drop by 20 piasters, 14 karat is priced for first time
Ammon News - Saturday, the price of gold in local market dropped by 20 piasters, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price for 21-carat gold is JD59.40 per gram, while the purchase price is JD57.40, according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).
The selling price of gold per gram for 24-carat and 18-carat reached JD68.10 and JD52.80 respectively.
For the first time, the Syndicate added a special price for 14-karat gold, which was not previously traded in the markets, as the price per gram reached JD40.10.
