The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to affect Northern Luzon on Sunday and bring scattered rains, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Batanes will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during severe thunderstorms.
PAGASA also said that as of 2 a.m., "no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation."
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Extreme Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
