Suzlon Energy soars after Q4 PAT zooms 365% YoY to Rs 1,182 cr
Suzlon Energy surged 11.31% to Rs 72.82 after the company's consolidated net profit surged 365.2% to Rs 1,182.22 crore on 73.2% jump in revenue from operations to Rs 3,773.54 crore in Q4 FY25 over Q4 FY24. Profit before tax (PBT) soared 118% Yo Y to Rs 551.24 crore in Q4 FY25. EBITDA stood at Rs 693 crore, registering the growth of 94.12%, compared with Rs 357 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA margin expanded to 18.4% in Q4 FY25 as against 16.4% in Q4 FY24. Net volumes soared 109.89% to 573 MW in Q4 FY25, compared with 273 MW in Q4 FY24. On full year basis, the companys consolidated net profit soared 213.7% to Rs 2,071.63 crore on 67% jump in revenue from operations to Rs 10,851.32 crore in FY25 over FY24. Girish Tanti, vice chairman, Suzlon Group, said, "FY25s performance sets the stage for Suzlons next phase of strategic evolution and market leadership. Achieving our highest profitability in a decade, strong cash reserves, and a record order book are the direct outcomes of our disciplined business transformation and sharp operational focus. Suzlon secures 378MW wind project with NTPC Green Energy in India
Wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon has secured a new 378MW wind energy project from Indian clean energy company NTPC Green Energy (NGEL). The project expands Suzlon's partnership with NTPC to a total of 1.54GW and marks the second major order from NGEL within eight months. The wind energy project will be executed in Karnataka's Gadag region in India. Suzlon Group CEO JP Chalasani said: "Securing major and high-quality projects in the PSU [public sector undertaking] sector is a key part of our growth strategy, and our order with NGEL highlights the success of this approach. 'It shows our ability to deliver reliable solutions while supporting India's clean energy goals. This partnership strengthens our role as a trusted partner in India's renewable energy journey." The contract entails Suzlon supplying 120 of its S144 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.15MW and featuring hybrid lattice towers. Suzlon's responsibilities also include the foundation, erection and commissioning of the project. Moreover, the company will provide ongoing maintenance and services. Mumbai: Suzlon , a renewable energy company, on Wednesday said it has consolidated its largest partnership with NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) to 1,544 MW, with a recent award win of 378 MW wind energy project. 'We are honored to be a strategic partner in NTPC's ambitious vision to accelerate India's clean energy transition. As NGEL aims to expand its renewable energy portfolio to 60 GW by 2032, this partnership lays a crucial foundation for showcasing the key role of wind in powering India's largest PSU's renewable journey by providing high-quality, affordable power,' said Girish Tanti, vice-chairman, Suzlon Group. The Suzlon Group is a global renewable energy solutions provider, with about 20.9 GW of wind energy capacity installed across 17 countries.
