Young innovators in contention for honours at the national finals of the Student Enterprise Awards Today at 21:30 Two teenage innovators in Munster are set to showcase their farming inventions – a fence post remover and a calf hoist – at the national finals of the Student Enterprise Awards in Mullingar next week. Jack O'Sullivan (13), a first-year student at Castleisland Community College in Kerry, and Donal Bennis (16), a transition year student at Hazelwood College in Limerick, have both designed products aimed at solving real challenges faced by farmers.
