Campaigners met at Buchanan Steps in the city centre on Sunday afternoon to protest a conference being held by Glasgow Friends of Israel. Footage from the scene shows a large police presence and a crowd gathered around a police van shouting "let him go". Napier was then reportedly released, with video showing him getting out of the van and being met with cheers from the crowd. Police Scotland have been contacted for comment. More to follow.
