WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Busch Gardens is set to have an increased law enforcement presence in and around the park on Saturday. The security team at Busch Gardens requested additional off-duty officers from James City County Police Department and partnering agencies to be on-site to ensure safety for a performance apart of the Busch Gardens Concert Series, according to a JCCPD official. County artists Easton Corbin, Matt Stell and Hayden Coffman are set to perform Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. The partnership between JCCPD and Busch Gardens is to strengthen safety measures and ensure a positive guest appearance. In September, a large altercation occurred between two groups at Busch Gardens, which prompted a significant law enforcement response. JCCPD: Fugitive arrested in connection with stealing vehicle in Hampton

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A man was arrested in connection with a vehicle that was stolen in Hampton on Tuesday evening. On May 20, The James City County Police Department received a BOLO alert from the Hampton Police Division at approximately 7:15 p.m. after a vehicle reported stolen in Hampton was detected by a Flock Safety camera in James City County. Shortly after 10 p.m., a James City County Police Department Patrol officer found the vehicle parked on Tilghman Court in the Woods of Williamsburg apartment complex and confirmed the sighting with Hampton Police. While officers were processing the vehicle, they noticed a man nearby matching the description of the man who stole the vehicle. They approached the man, but he refused to identify himself and fled on foot into a wooded area near Longhill Road and Lafayette Boulevard. Officers initiated a foot pursuit and requested assistance from the department's drone team, K-9 Officer Maverick and Handler Officer Crockett, and an apprehension-trained K-9 from the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office. K-9 Officer Maverick initiated the track, which was then taken over by YPSO's K-9 Grit and Handler Sgt. Schultz. K-9 Grit located the suspect within minutes, however another brief foot chase ensued across Longhill Road. The suspect eventually surrendered without incident. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Travis Inman, was learned to be a fugitive and wanted out of Hampton and Newport News on various charges. Inman was taken to the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail on the following charges out of Hampton: assault and battery against a family member, assault and battery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, grand larceny, reckless driving, driving without an operator's license and contempt of court. James City County Police searching for missing woman

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — The James City County Police Department is looking for Angel Graves, 48, who was reported missing Friday. Police said Graves was last seen in person at her home on Diascund Road in James City County during the early morning hours Friday, and, at around 5:57 a.m., a gray Nissan Rogue, which Graves was believed to have been driving, was spotted on a Flock Safety camera near Norge Elementary School. Police said the vehicle, with Virginia license plate UCP2405, has not been spotted since. Graves is about 5-foot-7, about 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Police said due to existing health concerns, she may need medical assistance and is considered missing and endangered. Anyone with information about Graves' whereabouts or the location of the vehicle is asked to call 911 or call the James City County Police Department's dispatch line at 757-566-0112.
