Man remains 'unidentified' after 'attempted murder' stabbing
A man police are searching for following an an "attempted murder" stabbing at a student accommodation block in Oxford is still "unidentified".
Police said they are searching for a man in connection with a suspected stabbing which occurred about 7pm on Sunday, July 20 in James Wolfe Road.
A man in his 20s was said to have been stabbed in this incident.
Student accommodation Unite Students Parade Green in Cowley was cordoned off by officers following the incident.

The victim, who has not been named, sustained "serious injuries" and required hospital treatment but has since been discharged, according to police.

Thames Valley Police issued an update on the attempted murder probe on August 1, releasing an image of an individual officers are looking for.

A further update issued today, August 11, has revealed the force is still looking for him.
A man wanted in connection with the incident remains 'unidentified' (Image: Thames Valley Police) A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "The man remains unidentified and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing."
At the time of the appeal, detective inspector George Atkinson said: "We have been conducting a thorough investigation following this incident, and we are now appealing for the public's help.

"I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man pictured, as he may have vital information to assist us with our enquiries.
"If this is you, please come forward as soon as possible."
