O'Neill's pub reopens in Glasgow's Merchant Square after revamp

O'Neill's, in Albion Street, underwent an extensive renovation and has now opened its doors again. Its new look boasts a "brighter, new contemporary design" which includes a new bar and refreshed spaces. (Image: Supplied) Known for its live sports and music, the eatery has been situated in Merchant Square for 30 years and is the venue's longest-standing resident. The eatery will continue to serve food and drink and is the "ideal hangout for guests to gather with friends, family, or colleagues". There are also Irish tipples to try, including Baby Guinness, Jameson Red Breast Irish Whiskey, and a classic pint of Guinness. (Image: Supplied) Breakfast is also served on weekends from 11am. Danny Roe, the general manager, said: 'As a cornerstone of Glasgow's nightlife, we're delighted to have given the pub a much-needed refresh and can't wait to share the exciting changes with our guests. "The team looks forward to welcoming guests – old and new – for a pint, a bite and plenty of craic."
