Love Island shock as huge pop star enters the villa for sexy performance

THE Love Island stars are in for a treat, and so are viewers at home, when a HUGE pop star enters the famous villa. It's been an explosive few days with love triangles, people being dumped and furious rows, so the Islanders could do with a bit of fun. 5 5 5 5 The Sun can exclusively reveal that singer Katy B will be strutting her stuff into the villa, for a surprise set. Insiders tell us that the singer will be filming in the villa tonight, as the Islanders get treated to a performance. The Katy On a Mission hitmaker will be seen belting out all her biggest songs, as the Islanders dance along. Over the years the villa has seen some HUGE stars perform, including Craig David, Jason Derulo and Rita Ora. As the performance is being filmed tonight, this could mean it will play out on Sunday night's episode. CASA AMOR RETURN Katy's performance could also coincide with the return of Casa Amor, which The Sun confirmed today will start on Sunday. The fan-favourite part of the show sees a whole host of stunning bombshells introduced to test the current Islanders. Viewers will see the iconic Casa Amor neon light flicker on as a teaser at the end of tonight's show. And with the current crop of stars struggling to form genuine connections, it's likely to cause complete chaos. There was already a taste of what to expect from the second villa earlier in the series when four stars spent time away for the Sleepover. Watch awkward moment Love Island's Meg clashes with bombshell Billykiss over Dejon in brutal game On that occasion, four new arrivals moved into the Casa villa - but only one, Gio Russo, made it back into the original villa. The repercussions of the villa switch-up were brutal, with Remell Mullins paying a high price for his decision. The Islander looked set to recouple with new girl Poppy Farnan after snogging and cuddling her the whole time. But, at the last minute, he changed his mind and decided to stick with Alima Gagio. Her relief quickly turned to despair when Helena Ford, who was also with him at the Sleepover, told her how he'd been behaving. Alima moved quickly to call things off and it wasn't long after that Remell was sent packing from the show altogether, with Alima not far behind. 5

‘I could eat this every day': Jason Derulo gives Singapore's chicken rice a ‘10 out of 10', but says no to ‘rojak' and ‘gong gong' (VIDEO)

SINGAPORE, June 28 — American pop star Jason Derulo recently visited the Lau Pa Sat hawker centre in downtown here during his recent stop in Singapore. Guess which local dish caught his eye? According to Derulo, his best pick was the chicken rice — which he gave a stellar rating of 10 out of 10. 'I could eat this every day,' he said in a TikTok clip along with local influencer Denise Teo. He also gave top marks for ice kacang, and biryani with prata and curry — giving them eight marks out of 10. 'It doesn't look like it's going to be creamy but it's very creamy, it's a lot of different flavours going on. I love mango,' he said of the dessert. However, the singer was not too enthusiastic about steamed sea conch or whelk — also called gong gong in Singapore — rating it a dismal one out of 10. 'I'll have to say this is not my thing,' he said. He also did not like the rojak — slices of cucumber, pineapple, and fritters slathered with prawn paste sauce and peanut sprinkles. 'I don't love peanuts with my dinner so it's not really my vibe,' he said of the dish. The singer, known for his songs 'Whatcha Say' and 'Talk Dirty' recently performed at The Star Theatre in Buona Vista as part of his Nu King World Tour.

Jason Derulo and The Script to headline Cherry Blossom Festival in Shillong

Global stars are set to light up the north-east city in a two-day celebration of music, culture, and immersive experiences. The Cherry Blossom Festival is set to return to Shillong on November 14-15, with an international line-up headlined by Jason Derulo and The Script. The announcement was made by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya during a World Music Day event at the Lariti Auditorium. After drawing thousands in previous editions, this year's festival will return to the city with an expanded footprint. Alongside main stage concerts at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, cultural installations and pop-up experiences are planned across Ward's Lake, heritage sites, and key public spaces—transforming Shillong into a citywide celebration zone. Supporting venues like MFA Ground and SRGT Ground will add to the festival's scale. Day 1 highlights: Jason Derulo, the Miami-based pop-R&B artiste known for hits like Swalla , Talk Dirty , and Savage Love , will perform with his 15-member dance crew. Derulo's high-energy stage presence and choreography have earned him a place among the top global performers known for combining vocals with movement. Sharing the stage, Irish rock band The Script will make their India debut. With over 20 million albums sold worldwide and anthems like Hall of Fame and Breakeven , the band is expected to deliver an emotionally charged live set that fans have long awaited. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo The Day 2 headliners will be revealed in the coming weeks, with organisers hinting at a similarly diverse and high-profile line-up. In a major production upgrade, every attendee will receive an RFID-enabled LED wristband, enabling synchronised crowd lighting—a concept made popular at global concerts, which will now debut in the North-East. The goal: to create a shared visual and musical experience unlike any before. Tickets, limited to preserve production quality, will go on sale at the end of June. More than just a music event, the Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 is poised to amplify Shillong's cultural capital, drawing visitors from across the country and abroad while providing a significant boost to the local economy and tourism sector.

American singer Jason Derulo tries local food at Lau Pa Sat – loved chicken rice but not rojak and gong gong

American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo recently made a pit stop at Lau Pa Sat hawker centre to try several Singapore delights after his concert at The Star Theatre on Wednesday (Jun 25) as part of his Nu King World Tour. Accompanied by content creator Denise Teo, the Want To Want Me singer posted his food ratings on TikTok on Thursday (Jun 26), which included dishes like gong gong (sea conch or snails), ice kachang, chicken rice, rojak, briyani with prata and curry, as well as lala (clams). Some dishes were a hit with Derulo. He rated ice kachang an eight out of 10 and said: 'It doesn't look like it's going to be creamy but it's very creamy, it's a lot of different flavours going on. I love mango.' He also rated the biryani with prata and curry, as well as the la la an eight out of 10. 'This is way better than it looks,' he said of the lala. Out of the bunch, chicken rice was the singer's favourite, rating it a 10 out of 10. 'I could eat this everyday,' he said. There were, however, some misses for the Talk Dirty singer. Derulo was not a fan of the gong gong. 'I'll have to say this is not my thing,' he said, rating the dish a one out of 10. He also did not love the rojak and rated it a four out of 10: 'I don't love peanuts with my dinner so it's not really my vibe.' Derulo's concert was initially set to be held on Mar 20 this year at Singapore Expo Hall 7 but was postponed to Jun 25 at The Star Theatre. During the pandemic, the pop star amassed a large following on TikTok when users started creating viral dances to his songs like Savage Love. With over 66 million followers on the platform now, he posts dance videos, skits and challenges. He also often collaborates with other content creators.
