FM Al-Baour meets Spanish ambassador to boost bilateral ties
Foreign Minister, Al-Taher Al-Baour, met on Wednesday with the Spanish ambassador to Libya, Javier Lara, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation HQ in Tripoli, focused on enhancing ties across various fields in a way that serves mutual interests and deepens friendship and understanding between Libya and Spain.
Al-Baour, accompanied by the Director of European Affairs at the ministry, Abubakr Al-Taweel, praised the longstanding relations between the two nations and commended Spain's positive role in supporting Libya's political path. He stressed the Government of National Unity's commitment to developing closer cooperation with Madrid that reflects the aspirations of both peoples.
