Renowned singer Jawad Ahmad has released a new song to mark Pakistan's 78th Independence Day and to inspire the nation, highlighting the importance of patriotism and unity among all the people living in the country. The anthem, created by the leader of the Barabri Party Pakistan, presents a unique perspective on the national pride. It emphasises the value of the homeland and underscores the collective responsibility of citizens towards their country. Directed by Dilwaiz Ali Khan, Jawad's powerful voice brings the song to life. The music for is composed by Sajid Hussain and Faisal Iqbal. The song begins with themes of courage, strength, determination, passion, and hard work, encapsulated in the powerful words "This is my country, these are my people." The lyrics of the anthem portray the spirit of Pakistanis, urging them to live fearlessly like eagles, fight bravely like lions, and stay united in love and defence of the homeland. Talking to The Express Tribune, Jawad said that in his new Independence Day national song, the people of Pakistan are portrayed as a courageous, brave, and hardworking nation. He described the song as an expression of beauty, emotion, and passion. "It depicts all segments of Pakistani society, various fields of work, and people from different walks of life in an appealing way — one that holds immense potential to awaken patriotism and nationalism in every Pakistani's heart." The song can also be seen as a continuation of 'Dosti', one of Jawad Ahmad's biggest hits. Released 24 years ago, 'Dosti' went on to become one of the greatest national songs in Pakistan's history — one that the entire nation knows by heart.
