Can Ty Simpson make Alabama a top-5 team again?

I may have them slightly higher than that, not much higher than that. But I could, I could interchange a lot of these teams at the top right now. Really one of the best rosters in the country. Uh, the model is questioning offensive balance with Alabama, which is understandable because they sucked running the ball last year by their standard. And so, you know, I've listened to them talk a lot about how they love what Jaylen Milroe's given them and really they, they like their tailback room pretty good there, they like their offensive line, but you know what they did last year and it was just, it was nonexistent. Offensive balance was nonexistent. Now a lot of that will be rectified because of a more dependable presence at quarterback. Not meaning Ty Simpson makes the high-level plays that Jaylen Milroe does, but Ty Simpson's a more consistent player than Jaylen Milroe was, and that makes it a whole lot easier to execute a game plan week in and week out, have a lot more of an identity, and that's probably where you, along with the addition of Ryan Grubb and offensive coordinator, commit to the ground game a little bit more. DB and wide receiver rooms pretty incredible here. So Ty Simpson got named the starting quarterback there. Uh, if that comes together, Bama's too low at 5, but because of those concerns, we got Bama 5. Close
