The Walters Cup season will reach a flash point on Thursday with two sudden death semi-finals.
In a Gold Coast derby, Keebra Park SHS will clash with arch-rivals Palm Beach Currumbin SHS, while in the other match there will be a cross river donnybrook when Wavell SHS and Mabel Park SHS confront each other.
All games will be live streamed by this masthead via KommunityTV.
Keebra Park SHS and Wavell SHS will be favourites to progress into the grand final, but the form guide can be thrown out the window when it comes to finals football.
There are a number of future talents, some already connected with NRL clubs in their academy systems, who will need to be watched in the finals.

+ Forwards Lenton Funaki, Cruz Molo and Lennox Lakatani (Wavell) who can power their side to victory;
+ Ezekiel Filipi (Mabel SHS) who has been arguably the best player in the competition this season. His little mate, Tristan Ford-Walters has been grand at hooker as well.
+ MJ Otunuku (Keebra Park SHS), the Keebra lock who has led from the front;
+ Iki Bilish (PBC) who will take on the big men from Keebra Park.
