‘It's an institution': Young owner selling NI pub famed for its Guinness as he goes in search of new life
Just two years after taking it over, the 25-year-old owner of one of Newry's pubs — regarded as an institution in the city and famed for its pints of Guinness — is putting it on the market.
Martin Ward, who lives in Newry but is from Omeath in Co Louth, said he had a long-term plan for Jean Crozier's in Upper Water Street when he bought it for £200,000 in 2023.
