Polls due to open in Alderney by-election
Polls in a by-election in Alderney will open later, giving islanders the chance to elect two new for two of the 10 seats in the States of Alderney will take place at the Island Hall between 09:30 GMT and 18:30 by-election was called to fill two vacant seats following the resignation of two island candidates in the by-election will be Haydn Bateman, Jeannie Cameron, Lin Maurice and Veronica Taylor.
