Jeep has been trying to boost its sales numbers in the Indian market. In order to achieve this goal, Jeep has now announced offers for its lineup in India. Prospective customers can avail offers up to Rs 3.90 lakh on the Jeep Compass, Jeep Meridian, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, this offer is only valid till June end. Jeep Compass: June 2025 Offers The Jeep Compass gets offers worth Rs 2.95 lakh in June 2025. This offer includes a consumer offer up to Rs 1.70 lakh, a corporate benefit up to Rs 1.10 lakh, and a special offer worth Rs 15,000. The Jeep Compass has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that churns out 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The prices of the Compass begin from Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 32.41 lakh (ex-showroom). Jeep Meridian: June 2025 Offers The Jeep Meridian will get a total benefit worth Rs 3.90 lakh in June 2025. This includes up to Rs 2.30 lakh as a consumer offer, corporate benefits up to Rs 1.30 lakh, and up to Rs 15,000 as a special offer. The prices of the Jeep Meridian start from Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and extend up to Rs 38.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Jeep Grand Cherokee: June 2025 Offers Jeep Grand Cherokee The Jeep Grand Cherokee gets a discount of up to Rs 3 lakh in June 2025. It has a single variant available in the Indian market, priced at Rs 67.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Jeep Meridian for Brazil updated with new 2.2-litre diesel engine
The Jeep Meridian, sold as the Commander in Brazil, is now equipped with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, replacing the 2.0-litre oil burner Check Offers The Jeep Meridian, sold as the Commander in Brazil, has been updated with a new 2.2-litre diesel engine in the Latin American market. The Jeep Meridian sold in India gets a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which was also available in the Brazilian market. However, the automaker has now equipped the three-row SUV with a more powerful engine and will be available only in the top-spec Overland trim. Jeep Commander (Meridian) gets new 2.2-litre The Jeep Commander Overland is equipped with the 2.2-litre turbo diesel tuned for 197 bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via the 4x4 system. Check it out The Jeep Commander for Brazil not only packs a more powerful diesel engine but also gets several upgrades in the process. It now packs bigger front brakes to handle the additional power, while the 9-speed automatic transmission gets 14 per cent longer ratios in order to accommodate the additional torque. The new Commander with the 2.2-litre mill is also faster with 0-100 kmph coming up in 9.7 seconds, as opposed to 11.6 seconds with the older engine. The Jeep Meridian for India is powered by the tried and tested 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel engine that develops 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque, paired with 9-speed automatic transmission with a 4x4 system. The same engine powers a host of SUVs in India including the Tata Harrier and Safari, MG Hector and Hector Plus, and the Jeep Compass too. Jeep Meridian Gets Bigger Diesel Engine Overseas, Delivers More Mileage
Jeep has been working on expanding its market on the global front. Recently the American auto major unveiled the 2025 iteration of the Compass and Compass EV. Now, Jeep has brought a new update to its existing lineup. The brand has introduced a new 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine for the Jeep Meridian. Till now, Jeep has been tight lipped about its arrival in India and the update is restricted for the Brazilian market. Stellantis has now equipped a new 2.2-liter diesel engine in the Jeep Meridian. The power unit is capable of delivering 200 hp and 450 Nm. The new engine works in conjunction with the 9-speed automatic transmission unit and has an all-wheel drive system. The new engine has significantly increased the power output, as the older engine delivered 170 hp and 380 Nm of torque. Also, it is now capable of shooting from 0-100 km in just 9.7-seconds. The more powerful engine has improved the fuel efficiency of the Jeep Meridian as it now claims a mileage of 15.5 km/l, while the older Meridian claimed 13.4 km/l of mileage. While the updated Jeep Meridian retains the same design and features, it now gets a new exhaust system with ARLA 32 type emission reduction tech, the brake discs are now bigger to enhance the improved power output. The brand is tightlipped about the launch of the Jeep Meridian in India. However, it is likely to make its way to the Indian market post its launch in other global markets. Also, the entry of the new engine will increase the prices of the Jeep Meridian. Currently, the Jeep Meridian is available at a starting price of Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
