Row64 - The Industry's Breakthrough Visual Real-Time Business Intelligence Platform Secures Strategic Funding

Row64's interactive visual analysis of big data enables immediate response to rapidly changing conditions and emerging opportunities CHEYENNE, WY / ACCESS Newswire Row64, creators of the only visual real-time business intelligence platform for big data, today announced its $4 million seed funding round led by Galaxy Interactive, with participation from Alumni Ventures and Differential Ventures. Based on the momentum from market traction across various industries, the capital will further fuel the expansion of Row64's development roadmap and go-to-market teams, accelerating product innovation and global market adoption. In today's fast-paced, data-driven economy, enterprises face an overwhelming surge in the volume, velocity, and variety of data. Yet most legacy business intelligence systems are not equipped to deliver the real-time, visual insights needed to act on that information as it happens. As a result, organizations often miss critical opportunities or react too late to rapidly changing conditions. With global data creation expected to surpass 400 terabytes per day (the equivalent of 20 trillion high-res photos), solving this challenge has become essential to maintaining a competitive edge. Row64 is the only visual real-time business intelligence platform delivering interactive analysis for massive data sets. Built on a GPU- and CPU-accelerated computing stack, Row64's high-throughput, low-latency processing updates data at sub-millisecond speeds while powering a new generation of highly interactive dashboards. As a result, businesses can react faster to changing conditions and take advantage of opportunities as they arise. 'Real-time is the new standard for modern business intelligence,' said Marc Stevens, CEO and co-founder of Row64. 'With our platform, enterprise customers can visualize and interact with massive, and even streaming, datasets instantly, empowering them to make the critical, fast-paced decisions that drive competitive advantage.' Row64 next-generation dashboards are built from the ground up to push the boundaries of scalability and real-time performance. Utilizing Row64's native browser front end powered by Web Assembly (WASM) and WebGL, users across the organization interact with GPU-rendered dashboards with detail and accuracy, capable of compositing rich data such as 2D and 3D GIS data, images, and line networks, all at ultra-high resolution (4k and 8k monitors) and interactive (60fps+) frame rates on billion-record datasets. Key benefits of Row64 include: 'Galaxy Interactive invests in transformative technologies and outstanding teams, and is proud to back Row64 as it builds a new full stack and defines a new category in business intelligence,' said Jeff Brown, Partner at Galaxy Interactive. 'Their visual, real-time business intelligence platform solves a critical market gap, transforming how data-driven organizations operate in high-velocity environments.' Row64's speed, scale, flexibility, and visual precision support a wide range of use cases, including multivariate P&L analysis, spatial analytics for intelligent cities, real-time cybersecurity, motion analysis, HR organizational analysis, and complex systems analysis for emergency incident reporting. Highlighting another industry first, Row64 will demonstrate its breakthrough new DeltaStream -powered Apache Kafka data pipeline for low latency, real-time data streaming, and interactive analysis, at the Databricks Summit in San Francisco, June 9-10. 2025 (Booth #F615). Lighthouse debuts as a waterfront beacon in Moreton Bay

Traders In Purple has launched Lighthouse, a second waterfront property at Newport in Moreton Bay. Following the success of Lasail, which sold out in record time prior to completion, Lighthouse presents an opportunity for downsizers and upgraders to embrace waterfront living and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. Lighthouse has two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses, three-bedroom garden villas and three-bedroom townhomes. Features to all dwelling types will be an abundance of natural light, indoor and outdoor living space, and views, including outlooks over Moreton Bay, the Newport waterfront and marina, Glass House Mountains, and gardens. Located at the corner of Trinity St and Lighthouse Esplanade alongside Lakeview Park, with a 22-berth marina frontage, Lighthouse has two buildings, Palm and Dune, connected by a subtropical porte cochere entry. Resident amenity includes a swimming pool for each building, outdoor entertaining areas, landscaped gardens and a shared Residents' Lounge. Sales of the first building, Palm, will begin this month, coinciding with the opening of an on-site sales display, featuring a full-sized kitchen and bathroom. Early price indications at the development will see two-bedroom apartments starting from $1.095m, three-bedroom apartments from $1.39m, townhomes from $990,000 and garden villas from $1.18m. Designed by Rothelowman, Lighthouse incorporates many design touches that add to the sense of being on holiday. 'There's a quiet harmony in the design – light, layered and grounded in the natural rhythm of southeast Queensland,' Rothelowman principal architect Jeff Brown said. 'From the point of arrival, as you travel deeper into Lighthouse, a series of garden lobbies and airy walkways have been carefully orchestrated to make the journey from outdoors to indoors beautiful and welcoming.' Interiors reinforce the sense of elegant simplicity, emphasising quality, light and warmth within a neutral colour and finishes palette. Traders In Purple chief executive Brett Robinson said the diversity of dwelling types was the result of listening to customers and appreciating what they valued most in their home. 'Lighthouse builds upon what we delivered to customers at Lasail, enhancing the offering with additional resident amenities including a Residents' Lounge and thoughtful inclusions like a herb garden, all designed to foster a strong sense of community,' he said. 'We have included more two-bedroom apartments and wherever possible all dwelling types feature a multipurpose room that can be used as a study or hobby space, second living room or guest accommodation. 'Careful thought has gone into designing homes from the inside out, thinking about the way people want to live, especially when they're in this incredible waterfront location with a climate that lends itself to outdoor living. 'That translates into large usable balconies and courtyards that extend the living space with vast floor-to-ceiling windows to take advantage of water views. 'It's about doing the simple things exceptionally well.' Mr Robinson said buyers were likely to come from the wider Pine Rivers region and Moreton Bay peninsula, many of them downsizing from a family home or upgrading from an older apartment. 'We have been fielding a huge amount of inquiry, including some of those who missed out on an opportunity to buy at Lasail, which sold so quickly,' he said. 'Some inquiry has also come from people renting at Lasail, who've had an opportunity to know our brand and the quality we deliver.' LIGHTHOUSE Developer: Traders In Purple Address: Corner of Trinity St and Lighthouse Esplanade, Newport Features: Two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses, three-bedroom garden villas and three-bedroom townhomes, priced from $990,000 Contact: 0408 721 050 More info:

BBC presenter makes surprise return after emotional exit

Former BBC Look North presenter Jeff Brown made a surprise return to the airwaves over the weekend as he helped out with coverage of the Sheffield United v Sunderland Championship match A BBC news presenter has delighted fans by coming out of retirement to help with coverage of a sporting event. Jeff Brown disappointed fans in March last year when he announced he was stepping away from the news desk and seeking retirement. Jeff had been a presenter on BBC Look North for 21 years before he hung up his microphone for a quieter life. But this weekend, the star revealed he was coming "off the bench" to help with coverage of the English Football League Championship. ‌ On Saturday, sports fans were on the edge of their seats as Sheffield United took on Sunderland at Wembley Stadium in London. When the whistle was blown at full time, Sunderland were crowned winners of the game, scoring two goals over Sheffield, who managed to net just one. ‌ Jeff had a front row seat for all the ball chasing action - and revealed he was back in his presenting role to provide a match report. Taking to X after the match had been won, the TV star shared a photograph of himself sitting in front of a monitor while in the stadium. In an accompanying message, he hinted that he could return to screens more than once, while also hinting this could be his final credit for the BBC. He wrote: "Came off the bench for (probably) my final stint in the Wembley press box. And what a way to sign off!" He added: "Match report on tonight's BBC Look North ⁦@BBCNEandCumbria." His return was warmly received by fans who rushed to praise his return. Responding to his post, one fan replied to write to the presenter: "Good to see you Jeff." While another wrote: "Couldn't have asked for any more Jeff. We'll enjoy the moment then look forward to a tough season ahead." And a further fan typed: "Fantastic weekend Jeff. Good luck and see you around the hallways." While many others expressed their joy over the end of match result. ‌ Jeff previously announced his retirement in March 2024 - with the news of his exit from the North East show coming as a shock to fans in the region. The TV host had been a popular member of the team since 2003 - specialising in sport while also fronting news bulletins on a regular basis. Over the course of his career on BBC Look North, he was nominated for Royal Television Society awards - and broke the news of his exit directly to fans. Taking to X at the time, he explained why he felt the time was right to step away from the corporation. He wrote: "News just in…after nearly 21yrs with BBC Look North ⁦ @BBCLN I'm moving on. Projects in the pipeline with BBC & others, but (as you can see) it's been fun, and a huge, wonderful part of my life. Thanks for watching." ‌ In a more details statement released around the same time, Jeff said: "Presenting BBC Look North - filling the seat once occupied by the great Mike Neville - has been the undoubted highlight of my career, something I could never have imagined when I set out as a journalist. 'It has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to work with such talented and dedicated teams over the years, and I'm proud to count them as my friends. "I'm also truly grateful to the many people and organisations across the North East and Cumbria who have allowed me to tell their stories, and to be welcomed into hundreds of thousands of homes every night." He added: 'Sport has always been my passion – whatever colour the team is wearing or the shape of the ball! I hope I've been able to reflect the depth of feeling fans have for their teams because in that respect our region is unique'.
