Dave Garman is Jefferson Ruritan Club's Ruritan of the Year,
In February, the Jefferson Ruritan Club awarded the 2024 Ruritan of the Year to Dave Garman. Garman has been a member of the Jefferson Ruritan for several years, but actively supported the club as Boy Scout Leader of Troop 1066 for many years prior to joining the Ruritan. Garman has assisted at all of the club's carnivals, managing the parking lots and seeing that the grounds are kept immaculate at the annual event. During the planning for the 250th Jefferson Anniversary, Garman's contributions included his research, writing, and production of the Anniversary Book. He currently serves as the chairperson for the Ruritan's History and Archives Committee.
