Bahrain Secures Full Membership in Mediterranean Parliament
Manama: Bahrain's parliamentary delegation, led by Dr. Jehad Abdulla Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairperson of the Shura Council, received full and permanent membership in the Mediterranean Parliament during its 19th General Assembly in Rome.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the delegation had formally requested membership, emphasising Bahrain's commitment to enhancing parliamentary diplomacy. Delegates took part in the election of the new President and bureau members for the 2025-2026 term and contributed to discussions on political, security, economic, and human rights topics within the Mediterranean Parliament's standing committees.
