Labubu alternatives you should know about before they sell out too
Feeling left out from the most viral trend of the year being completely sold out? Here are five Labubu alternatives for the 2025 bag charm trend - and yes, they are still available Whether you're a fan or not, Labubus cannot be missed. Seemingly everywhere, 2025's biggest trend repeatedly sold out from not only Pop Mart, but other retailers too. The unexpected hype for the eerie looking plush toys has reached astronomical heights, where fans can now even rent the attachable teddies. The waiting list for these love-or-hate soft toys is supposedly a mile long so, if you're dying to participate in cute, bag charm fashion then here are five alternatives that are just as - if not more - adorable! Jellycats An enormous trend in its own right, its undeniable that Jellycats were the leading product that first began the soft toy phenomenon with young adults - and they're much easier to purchase. Launched in London, in 1999, the super soft teddies range from sweet animals like bunnies, sausage dogs and foxes, to fun sized food such as vegetables, cakes and croissants. With simple, stitched, smiley faces, the range now also includes sports-related items that feature mini caps, limbs and the attachable keyrings of course. Crybaby Reportedly a close second to Labubus is Pop Mart's other hit: the Crybaby. These sad-doll alternatives are the 'thought-daughter' pick, perfect for fans of the infamous Coraline. And for those indecisive few that struggle to choose a favourite, look no further as they can only be bought as a 'lucky dip', arriving in a blind box, which is part of the fun. The sweet but sad dolls are in immediate need of a cheer up, almost nostalgic of the 2010's Tamagotchi that required constant, attentive love. Noodall Founded in London by art student Yiyang Wang, Noodall was born from Taiwanese noodles and rice being shaped into lovable little creatures, with their keyrings including mushrooms, dumplings and dinosaurs. The British-made brand is a coveted gift with 'Gen Z-ers', where the experience of taking a personality test to create your own personalised plushie based on your habits is a sure hit. Sylvanian Families Let's not forget this classic! If you grew up in 2000's, you're sure to remember these miniature figures from their addictive adverts on our British screens. Sylvanian Families are a great alternative for new fans and collectors. If these collectables ruled your childhood bedroom then you'll be excited to know the company now offer key chain versions, ready to act as nostalgic but chic bag charms attached, completely mobile without the usual house. SkullPanda Lastly, this edgy, rosy-cheeked doll is the perfect friend for your Crybaby. Fans have shared their love for the SkullPanda 's gothic charm. With a variety of differing looks, these unusual dolls are beautifully unique and feminine, sporting a range of hair styles, make-up and outfits. Like Crybaby's, the Pop Mart product also come in a blind box, so its a luck of the draw. Currently out of stock online, these popular 'attachables' are guaranteed a re-stock.

Kate shares how Jellycat toys remind her of teenage photographer who died of cancer
The Princess of Wales shared a touching moment with the family of a young photographer who tragically passed away from cancer, revealing that Jellycat cuddly toys serve as a poignant reminder of the budding artist. Liz Hatton, who lost her 10-month cancer fight in November 2024, had a memorable encounter with Kate at Windsor Castle. Invited to photograph Prince William at an investiture ceremony, a heartwarming image captured Liz embracing the Princess. During a Buckingham Palace garden party on Tuesday, Liz's younger brother, nine-year-old Mateo, presented Kate with two lemon pie and pickled onion shaped Jellycat toys. The Princess, delighted by the gesture, remarked, "It matches my dress, how did you know?" Jellycat, a London-based company established in 1999, is renowned for its plush toys, ranging in price from £12 to £200. Recalling her conversations with Liz, Kate shared a heartfelt sentiment: "I remember, we talked about Jellycats. When I see the fish and chips Jellycat, I think of her." 'She really made the most of everything. I loved her creativity all the way through. 'I hope you weren't overwhelmed. It must be difficult when you are under the spotlight. 'If you need any help fundraising, maybe I can help. Please stay in touch, really.' The Prince of Wales said to the nine-year-old: 'You look very smart today.' Seeing the toys, the prince said: 'These are like gold dust. My children go crazy for these things. This is a children's currency.' Tuesday was the first time Kate has attended a royal garden party in two years, surprising the 7,500 guests by joining husband William at Buckingham Palace. William, dressed in a top hat and morning suit, was hosting the traditional outdoor gathering on behalf of his father, the King. The princess, who is in remission from cancer, missed the 2024 garden party season while undergoing treatment during what William described as a 'brutal' year. Kate, whose attendance was not announced in advance as is the custom for garden parties, was dressed in a yellow Emilia Wickstead dress and hat by Philip Treacy. Also at the event were William's cousins, Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall. Kensington Palace said the prince and princess specially invited the younger generation of the royal family to accompany them. Other attendees included Holocaust survivor Steven Frank, who was photographed by Kate in 2020 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of the Holocaust, and fundraising youngster Tony Hudgell. Kate hugged Mr Frank and said: 'I feel like we're old friends now. It's good to see you looking so well.' The pair discussed the Holocaust survivor's work talking to young people about his experience. She said: 'It's amazing to be able to go out and do those talks. George and Charlotte really found going to the VE Day this year so interesting.' Tony, a double amputee who previously met Kate at the Evelina London Children's Day Surgery Unit, missed a garden party last year after getting stuck in traffic on his way there, prompting another invitation from the Palace this year. William said to the 10-year-old: 'Last year, it poured and poured with rain. You couldn't see anything. 'So you chose a good year to come. I'm glad you came on a better day.' The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were also present at the party.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis Are Obsessed with This Toy Prince William Calls 'Children's Currency'
Kate Middleton and Prince William met with the family of late photographer Liz Hatton at the Buckingham Palace garden party on May 20 The royal couple were gifted a pair of Jellycat plushes by Liz's 9-year-old brother, Mateo, in memory of his sister, who died from a rare cancer in November 2024 The Prince and Princess of Wales invited Liz and her family to Windsor Castle a month before her death, where she crossed an item off her photography 'bucket list' by taking pictures of a royal investitureKate Middleton and Prince William received some very special gifts at the royal garden party this week — and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, will be thrilled to see them! The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed thousands of guests to Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, May 20, including a few with whom they share a special connection. Prince William, 42, and Princess Kate, 43, met with the family of late photographer Liz Hatton, who died at age 17 from cancer in November 2024. The royal couple shook hands and spoke with Liz's parents, Aaron and Vicky Robayna, as well as her 9-year-old brother, Mateo. It was Mateo who picked out special gifts for the royal couple, presenting them with a pair of Jellycat plushes. The popular line of soft toys was a favorite of Liz's, and her family noted that she would give them to people who 'made her happy.' Mateo selected a tarte au citron plush for Kate, while William received a pickled onion. It may seem a strange combination, but both foods had special meaning for Liz. The onion was simple enough to explain: 'Because Liz loved all things pickled,' Vicky told the Daily Mail. As for the tarte, that hearkened back to when the Prince and Princess of Wales made one of Liz's 'bucket list' wishes come true. They invited her to Windsor Castle in October 2024, following Kate's return to royal work after undergoing her own cancer treatment. At the time, Liz's cancer had advanced to the point that she struggled to eat, however, the royal couple took pains to present her with something special. When her parents suggested that lemon drizzle cake was a favorite, the royal kitchen presented Liz with one, and she declared it the best she'd ever had. In lieu of a drizzle cake Jellycat, Mateo thought the tarte a good substitute. His mother proudly told the royals how he had personally chosen each of the Jellycats to remind the royals of his big sister. 'It matches my dress, how did you know?' marveled Kate, who donned a pale yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead and a matching Philip Treacy hat. 'We talked about it. When I see the fish and chips Jellycat, I think of her.' The gifts made Prince William bring up their three children — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7. 'My children will love these," he said. "They are children's currency.' Can't get enough of PEOPLE's Royals coverage? to get the latest updates on Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and more! Princess Kate paid tribute to Liz's 'strength and creativity' on International Women's Day on March 8, and when meeting with her family this week, reiterated her commitment to continuing their connection. 'She really made the most of everything. I loved her creativity all the way through,' she marveled to the photographer's family. 'If you need any help fundraising, maybe I can help. Please stay in touch, really.' As part of her Windsor Castle visit in October 2024, Liz was invited to photograph a royal investiture, marking another item off the photography bucket list that her mother shared on social media a few months before her death. Following her royal encounter, the teen photographer shared an image of her embracing Kate on her Instagram story "Such a lovely, genuine and kind people," she wrote. "I'm over the moon that my family and I had this experience." Read the original article on People
