Live bake-along with Room Forty to celebrate 9th birthday
DURING the Covid-19 lockdown, Jen Perry ran a series of popular Facebook live bake-alongs on the Warrington Guardian's social media pages.
Room Forty is gearing up to celebrate its 9th birthday with a bake-along live on Facebook on Good Friday, April 18 at 10am, where Jen will reveal some of the secrets of her famous scone.
Last year, Room Forty scooped Warrington's Best for Afternoon Tea award and Jen will be sharing some of her baking secrets on Friday, including the recipe for her delicious scones.
Jen is an accomplished baker and bakes everything from scratch for her sumptuous afternoon teas delivered and served in customers' homes or at a venue.
It's all served on fine vintage china with table linen.

Jen also runs her award-winning, accredited, mobile baking school.
Jen said: 'The bake-alongs were great fun during the pandemic and thousands of people participated both locally and from as far away as America and Australia.
'Thankfully the lockdowns are behind us, but I thought it would be fun to run another virtual class.
'It is thanks to my lovely customers that my business survived that period and is still thriving.
'I can't believe my luck - my customers are amazing.
'So as a thank you, who is up for joining me in a bake-along?'
