Victoria Pedretti Reveals She's Engaged to Ethan DeLorenzo: 'I'm Deeply in Love'

Victoria Pedretti and Ethan DeLorenzo are engaged! On Monday, July 21, the You actress, 30, revealed that she and the photographer have taken the next step in their relationship. 'It's no secret I'm deeply in love or that I'm engaged to Ethan. I tell everyone I meet,' she captioned a joint Instagram post with her fiancé. Their upload began with a single, close-up shot of DeLorenzo standing outdoors during a sunset looking toward the camera. The photo that followed was an image of the couple smiling as they hugged, gazing into each other's eyes in a parking lot. Another picture showed their shadows as they spent more time outdoors. Ahead of their engagement news, DeLorenzo posted an Instagram carousel featuring Pedretti to his feed on March 6. 'i'd lay on the cliff side during the apocalypse with you any day… expired polaroid film 💜,' he captioned the two-photo upload, which showed the Haunting of Hill House actress standing outside on a sunny day. DeLorenzo was previously engaged to Jena Malone. He and the Hunger Games: Catching Fire actress, 40, are parents to a son named Ode Mountain. Before their son was born, Malone shared a tribute to DeLorenzo on social media, praising him for the journey ahead. 'Thank you for being the living, breathing definition of a true partner," she wrote at the time. "Your sacrifice and dedication to the ones you love. Your patience and humor. Your warm heart. Your (sic) the best man I've ever met and I can't wait to watch you become what you were destined to become, an amazing father.' Pedretti previously sparked romance rumors with her You costar Dylan Arnold. The pair played Love Quinn and Theo Engler, respectively, on the hit Netflix thriller series. Their characters entered into a dangerously flirty relationship with each other in season 3. When photos of Pedretti and Arnold, now 31, hanging out together surfaced online in November 2021, reps for the stars did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. In March 2023, Netflix announced that the hit series was renewed for a fifth and final season. While Pedretti's character did not return for the final installment, she told E! News in 2021 that the show's antagonist Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) was likely Love Quinn's "soulmate." "I do see them as soulmates," Pedretti said. "I think that they're uniquely capable of fulfilling each other's weaknesses, and their strengths are really there to support and uphold each other." All 5 seasons of You are now streaming on Netflix. Read the original article on People

Consecration review – creepy nuns deliver the classic moves of holy terror very effectively

This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a wimple. In this well-crafted horror movie, a young woman called Grace (Jena Malone) finds herself up against a bunch of nuns who may or may not be trying to do something extremely dodgy with an unknown relic, and as with last year's Omen prequel, there's a nice line in casting here from the Ladybird Book of Horror Nuns. There's dotty young nun who pops up going 'peekaboo' (Eilidh Fisher), an arrogant mother superior (Janet Suzman), a hardliner weapon-of-Christ sort (Jolade Obasola), and the rather rarer spooky nun with one eye hidden behind an ominous white bandage (Alexandra Lewis). Their acting is uniformly excellent, as is that from Danny Huston, who plays a priest who introduces himself thusly: 'I'm Father Romero, I'm here from the Vatican,' which announces him as probably up to no good from the get-go. Grace arrives to identify the body of her brother (Steffan Cennydd), seemingly involved in a murder-suicide, has reasons of her own for being less than a fully paid-up God squad member, and while the reasons may not be much of a surprise if you've seen a few of these kinds of films, this is a very nicely put together example. Sure, it's purest hokum, but real pride has gone into crafting it.. Cocooning the treats of the storytelling in natural splendour, Consecration boasts some gorgeous location work; filmed on Skye and other scenic areas, there are rolling highlands, vertiginous cliff-tops, a tumbledown abbey on the crest of a hill – which you just have to accept as the site of the Knights of the Morning Star, an ancient dark force in the church. The world of the film feels real, a splendid argument for less green screen, more green fields – kudos to veteran British horror helmer Christopher Smith (Severance). Consecration is on digital platforms from 16 June.
