Harlow man pleads not guilty to murder after fatal crash

A 50-year-old man accused of killing a pedestrian with a car has appeared in court. A man in his 20s was fatally injured near a cycle path of Momples Road in Harlow, Essex, at about 17:30 GMT on Saturday. Jeremy Heath, 50, of Ladyshot in the town, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court accused of murder and possessing a bladed article in a public place. The defendant spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth. Mr Heath was remanded in custody to appear for another preliminary hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday. A 39-year-old has also been arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery over the incident, and a 42-year-old man was held on suspicion of assisting an offender. Murder charge after man hit by a car in Harlow dies

A man has been charged with murder and two more people have been arrested after a fatal crash between a pedestrian and a car. Essex Police said a man in his 20s from London died after he was injured near a cycle path off Momples Road, in Harlow, at about 17:30 GMT on Saturday. Jeremy Heath, 50, of Ladyshot in Harlow, Essex has been charged with has also been charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place and is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. Two men aged 42 and 39 both from Harlow have also been arrested in connection to the 39-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery, while the 42-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
