Tomah commemorates the Vietnam War turning 50
TOMAH, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – April 30th marks 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War. Earlier this year, Vietnam Veterans in the Coulee Region were honored for their service to our country. First News at Nine's Dashal Mentzel was there to highlight the ceremony that was full of thanks for the men and women who fought overseas. FOX 25/48 will also commemorate the anniversary of the Vietnam War coming to an end by airing a couple of 2-hour-long specials highlighting stories from veterans and those impacted by the conflict. The first special, Vietnam: A Lost Generation, will air on May 1st from 6 to 7 pm.
