Jeremy Kyle's brutal reaction to celebs 'I hadn't heard from in years' after TV return

TV personality Jeremy Kyle has shared his damning response to fellow celebs who tried to make contact with him after he made a return to our screens recently TV personality Jeremy Kyle has revealed his brutal reaction to fellow celebs who reached out to him after he made a return to our TV screens recently, after six years away. During a chat on the most recent episode of the Spooning with Mark Wogan podcast, Jeremy shared how he has received an influx of messages after his appearance on Kate Garraway's Life Stories on ITV earlier this month (April 1). ‌ However, after his popular self-titled show was taken off air in 2019, he has now named some of the celebs that came to his aid at the time and he also showed his disregard for others who have only recently made contact. ‌ He said: "You find out who your friends are, Piers Morgan instantly (reached out) rock solid, Kate Garraway rock solid, lots of people and that's fine. You know, I can also tell you three weeks ago when Kate Garraway's Life Stories interview went out, I got text messages from people I haven't heard from in six years." Sharing how it helped him realise who his true friends are, he added: "I didn't reply because I think that's one of the things that was probably a good thing out of that horror." Launching on ITV back in 2005 the Jeremy Kyle Show saw the host speak with family members, couples, and exes would come on the show in a bid to rectify a range of personal issues that could span from addictions to break-ups and parenting. Despite being one of channel's most popular shows at the time, it was abruptly cancelled in 2019 after a 63-year-old former guest of the show Steve Dymond, was found dead after he took his own life. ‌ During his recent chat with Kate Garraway on her ITV show, Jeremy said that he doesn't think his former programme will ever make a return, saying: "There's that great line, 'Do you want me to lie or do you want me to be honest?' That was what people at that time craved." He added: "We live in a world now where people aren't honest, are they? They're too busy worrying about what kind of response they're going to get." Meanwhile, it was heard at an inquest last year that Mr Dymond had been left "distraught" after failing a lie detector test on the show. During proceedings it was also said that the host had told him to "grow a pair" and he added: "I wouldn't trust you with a chocolate button, mate; I don't think you know what the truth is." ‌ After the inquest proceedings had come to a close, it was concluded that there was no "clear and reliable causal connection" between Steve Dymond's appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show and his suicide. In a subsequent statement, Kyle said he was "exonerated".
