Felonies The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Tuesday at 11 a.m. Jerry Wayne Rencher, 62, of Corinth, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff's Office, possession of methamphetamine, Lee County Sheriff's Office The following reports were filed Tuesday by the Lee County Sheriff's Office. A County Road 931 Saltillo woman said a white Tahoe drove through their property and hit a Daily Journal paper box and slung rocks toward the vehicles. One of the rocks cracked the windshield of her 2014 Toyota Camry. She said the truck drives past the residence regularly. A Drive 1547 Mooreville woman said a German shepherd showed up at their property about a weeks ago. The dog was friendly for the most part but has become territorial over the last few days. She doesn't want her dogs to go near the shepherd which is now showing aggression toward her and its puppies. The deputy explained that there are no leash laws or stray ordinances in the county, but she has the right to protect herself, her family and her pets from aggressive animals. An employee at Dago's store on Highway 371 noticed a white male sitting outside around 6:30 p.m. He walked out and told the man the store was about to close and he needed to leave. The suspect began arguing and reached into his bag. The employee pulled his gun from its holster, which diffused the argument. The employee went back inside and called 911 while the suspect remained sitting outside. The suspect was gone by the time deputies arrived. A County Road 1501 Nettleton man said a redheaded white male was wandering on his property around 12:30 a.m. When he asked for the man's name, the suspect said, 'drunk.' The man told the suspect several times that he needed to leave. The suspect replied, 'I'm gonna whoop your (posterior).' The suspect left the property before deputies arrived.
