Jersey end Island Games with cycling gold medal
Jersey cyclist Jacob Mauger capped off an excellent 2025 Island Games as he won bronze in the men's criterium and helped the island win team - who won two mountain bike team golds and was second in the cross country - was third in a sprint finish around the streets of means Jersey finish second on the medals table behind Faroe Islands with 30 gold, 25 silver and 20 bronze medals, one place ahead of Channel Island rivals gold medal winner Aaron Genestar Sanchez finished just ahead of Isle of Man's Tyler Hannay with Mauger a second behind. Footballers suffer second defeat to finish fourth
