Beach huts completely destroyed in overnight fire
MULTIPLE beach huts have been destroyed in a large fire on Bournemouth seafront overnight.
A total of nine huts were found alight at East Beach in the early hours of Tuesday morning, May 27.
An area of cliff approximately 25m x 15m was also affected.

Firefighters were called to the scene in Undercliff Drive at 1.20am.
Crews attended from Springbourne, Westbourne and Redhill Park, together with the aerial ladder platform from Westbourne.
Residents living nearby who were affected by the smoke were advised to keep their doors and windows closed as a precaution during the incident.

Two main jets and four hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished by 2.50am.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: 'The scene was handed over to BCP Council, and investigations will continue today into what caused the fire.'
