Trail runners race at 'stunning' North Yorkshire stately home
Runners and walkers visited Aske Hall near Richmond to take part in the final 2025 Stately Trails event organised by DalesRunner on Thursday, July 24.
Participants completed a 5km or 10km course of this stunning estate which took them across fields, through woods and around lakes.
Burgers were provided by local business Mocha after the race.
Local business Don't Sell The Farm created special medals for the event which can also be used as coasters.

Instead of plastic ribbon, the medals were strung with wool as an eco-friendly alternative.
Competitors travelled from across the region to take part and were encouraged to car share through a car share raffle.
They described the event as "friendly" and "well-organised" with a fantastic atmosphere.

"We would like to express our thanks to Lord Ronaldshay for giving permission for the event to go ahead and for generously donating the venue hire fee to Just The Job.
"Our Stately Trails series will be back in 2026 for its third year and we hope to welcome even more runners and walkers to these amazing estates."
The next event organised by DalesRunner is the DR40 and Semerwater Stomp on Saturday 13 September.
