In the first picture Claire and fellow soap star Jessie, 53, wore black outfits while attending Liza Minelli's birthday party back in 2003. The second shot was taken on Saturday, capturing the duo in glamorous looks while attending the star-studded wedding of DJ Fat Tony and fiancé Stavros Agapiou. Sharing a heartfelt tribute to her long-time friend, Claire wrote: 'These pics are taken 23 years apart. Tony, 58, and Stavros, 32, have been engaged since October 2023 and walked down the aisle in a lavish London ceremony this weekend. Kate Moss and Gemma Collins reportedly acted as bridesmaids while A-listers including Boy George, Davina McCall, David and Victoria Beckham, and Kylie Minogue were also slated to attend. As the festivities got underway, Claire took to Instagram to share some very glamorous photographs from her hotel room. Claire - who was also thought to be serving as a bridesmaid - was joined by her son Jaxon, 13, who she shares with her ex Daniel Reilly, and Boy George while getting ready. For the occasion, Claire cut a glamorous figure in a plunging silver sequinned gown embellished with floral patterns and waterfall feathered sleeves. She let her outfit do all the talking as she accessorised with a crucifix pendant and styled her golden tresses poker straight. Claire was every inch the proud mother as she stood beside her son Jaxon, who wore a black tuxedo and a red bowtie. They were both joined by singer Boy George, 63, who has long been a very close friend of groom DJ Tony's. Boy George showed off his signature style in a patterned shirt and a black blazer and trousers, which he styled with dark trainers. The Karma Chameleon hitmaker, who Tony asked to be his best man, completed his look with a signature blue hat and dramatic smokey eyeshadow. Earlier in the day, Claire also posted a video of herself of her and Jaxon heading to the wedding in a taxi. She panned around to show the sights of London before giving a glimpse at Jaxon sitting suited and booted beside her. 'We are on the way to DJ Fat Tony's wedding, you're looking lovely Jaxon,' Claire said. Just hours ahead of his nuptials, DJ Fat Tony gushed over the 'happiest chapter of my life'. Fat Tony, real name Tony Marnach, shared a sweet Instagram post that read, 'Love Wins' just hours ahead of his wedding. Tony added in the caption: 'Here we stand at the beginning... The happiest chapter of my life x' With Tony being hugely popular on the celebrity circuit, it's little surprise that the nuptials hosted an eclectic star-studded guestlist and an A-list performance from none other than Kylie Minogue for the evening celebrations, according to reports.

Iconic EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan is set to return to the BBC soap 20 years after her departure from Albert Square. Ryan played the role of Zoe Slater on the soap from 2000 to 2005. During her time on EastEnders, Ryan's character was involved in one of the most explosive and iconic moments in the soap's history. Involved in a heated argument with Kat Slater (played by Jessie Wallace), Zoe yelled: 'You can't tell me what to do. You ain't my mother.' To which Kat famously replied: 'Yes I am!' A source, speaking to The Sun, said: 'Bosses have repeatedly reached out to Michelle over the years, but the timing has never been quite right. 'People are still talking about her character, so it's a real coup to bring her back. 'She feels like now is the perfect moment — and there was an exciting script on the table.' It comes after MailOnline revealed in February that, despite multiple attempts from bosses over the years, Michelle has refused to return to EastEnders - turning them down every time they've asked. Back in 2001, EastEnders' leopard-print-loving Kat Slater, who had been sexually abused by her uncle, finally revealed to her 'sister' Zoe that she was, in fact, her mother. It remains one of the most famous and iconic moments in EastEnders ' 40-year history - a scene that has been mimicked by soap fans worldwide. The unforgettable storyline catapulted Michelle, then 16, to superstardom, and in 2005, she walked away from Walford for the final time, five years after arriving in EastEnders with the rest of the Slater clan. A source told MailOnline: 'Bosses reached out to Michelle several times over the years, they would love to have her back. For example, as the soap was approaching its big 30th anniversary, it was a gentle approach asking if she would consider a return in the lead up to it all. 'This was at the very early stages of their plans but Michelle refused and there was a lot of disappointment amongst bosses. 'It's always been quite baffling why she wouldn't want to reprise a character who is still very much adored by the fans. It's been 20 years since she left Albert Square but still people are talking about her character.' In the lead up to the soap's 40th a number of former characters came back including Grant Mitchell, Bianca Jackson, Chrissie Watts, David Wicks, Nigel Bates, Mickey Miller and even Angie Watts but there was no Zoe. Michelle admitted at the time of quitting that she 'got quite bored in the end' playing Zoe, telling the Bristol Evening Post: 'Doing the same thing day in, day out. It's just so boring. I like to jump from different things.' 'I always saw EastEnders as an apprenticeship. I always wanted to go on and do different things. I have some really good friends from that show but the door is closed. 'I've always taken chances. I think that's how you progress – by stepping out and doing different things. 'I really do like my freedom and jumping from job to job. I just want to work with people I admire and respect, wherever that be – big budget, low budget, leading role, supporting role.' After leaving the show 20 years ago, the star almost cracked America after landing the leading role in the re-imagining of the popular seventies TV show Bionic Woman, though the show was cancelled after just one season. Since then the British star has appeared in several independent films, including 4.3.2.1. and Cockneys vs Zombies. She has also had guest roles in BBC shows Merlin, Doctor Who and Death In Paradise.
