Ayrshire football club announced death of beloved member
Glenafton Athletic Football Club said they were 'saddened' to learn of the passing of fan, Jim 'Buffer' Carmichael.
In a Facebook post, the New Cumnock-based team said Jim was a supporter and member of the Glenafton Supporters Club.

Meanwhile, to honour the much-loved fan, the Ayrshire club said a minute's silence will be held before Saturday's home game against Barrhead's Arthurlie FC.
In the post, Glenafton Athletic FC said: "Glenafton Athletic Football Club are saddened to learn of the passing of one of our supporters, Jim Carmichael.
"Jim was also a member of the Glenafton Supporters Club. We send our condolences to Jim's family and friends at this sad time.
"A minute's silence will be held before Saturday's home fixture against Arthurlie FC in memory of Jim."
