Titans won't have new uniforms this year

Titans (Oilers) legend Warren Moon recently said he has seen 'futuristic' new uniforms for the Titans. Apparently, those new uniforms are not coming in the immediate future. Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website wrote this in a mailbag item: 'I was standing right in front of Warren Moon when he first mentioned publicly the possibility of new uniforms while in town for the Cam Ward presser. Then I saw where Warren doubled down in the topic over the weekend when he was at the Kentucky Derby.' Wyatt said that the team's uniforms won't change for 2025. He said he hasn't seen any new uniforms, and no one has told him anything is 'official.' Still, Moon saw something. Maybe he was off on the timing. But there apparently was something to see. And a possible new set of uniforms is coming, at some point. Keep that in mind when buying the current jersey.

Chris Johnson and LenDale White have big ideas for the Titans

Super Bowl week is always a fun time and you never know who will show up on radio row. On Friday, former Tennessee Titans running back tandem Chris Johnson and LenDale White reunited at the Super Bowl to promote their Smash & Dash podcast. In a conversation with Jim Wyatt, the two dove into many topics, including their thoughts on what the Titans should do this offseason and with the first pick in the 2025 NFL draft. From #SuperBowl: Smash & Dash @thereal_lendale and @ChrisJohnson28 have love for the @Titans — and solutions. In New Orleans, they discuss their friendship, their podcast, the NFL Draft, free agency thoughts and more. 🎥 — Jim Wyatt (@jwyattsports) February 8, 2025 'We said on our show: With the first pick … We want Travis Hunter,' White said. 'No disrespect to Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward, but he's a generational talent. Obviously, he plays corner, but I don't think we give him enough credit for what he does on the offensive side of the football.' This isn't the first time someone has mentioned Hunter being a potential match for the Titans. In fact, according to many of the draft experts, he may be the only clear generational talent in this class and that is something the Titans have openly expressed they are looking for. Both Johnson and White believe the new front office can turn things around and have high hopes that things can happen quickly. Of course, they also have some interesting ideas on how to make it happen. Whether it was picking up quarterback Aaron Rodgers or trading for Myles Garrett, they were committed to taking Hunter with that selection. While Rodgers and Garrett may be on the Smash & Dash wish list, they may not fit with what the front office has in mind this offseason. Like everyone else, these two former Titans are ready for the offseason to start rolling along. Next stop is the NFL Combine.

Titans great Chris Johnson blazing new trail at the Senior Bowl

Former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson was one of the fastest and most dynamic running backs of his era. Johnson was a star for the Titans. During his six seasons with the team, he rushed for 7,965 yards. His best season came in 2009 when he was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year. During that incredible season, he rushed for 2,006 yards and 14 touchdowns and set an NFL single-season record with 2,509 yards from scrimmage. A record that still stands today. Johnson retired in 2017 after 10 seasons in the league and is working his way back into the league. Now years after bursting onto the scene at the Senior Bowl, he is returning to assist with mentoring and scouting the running back class of 2025. Johnson is not there as part of the staff, he is there once again trying to catch the eye of a franchise. Johnson caught up with Jim Wyatt in Mobile. Now 17 years after running into the spotlight, @Titans great @ChrisJohnson28 is mentoring, and scouting, running backs at the @seniorbowl. '(I'm) trying to let them know: Just compete, and show that you belong out here.' STORY — Jim Wyatt (@jwyattsports) January 29, 2025 'But overall, the main thing I am doing is scouting the running backs. It's something I'd like to continue to do and hopefully, I can get with a team and help them out with scouting the running backs, with mentorship and all those kinds of things,' he said. 'I'm kind of getting my feet wet.' In 2024, Johnson expressed interest in a career in scouting and was invited to the NFL Scout School at the Senior Bowl to gauge interest and learn the fundamentals of scouting from current scouts and coaches. This season he was invited back as a mentor and adviser, hoping to blaze another trail into his future.
